About Pétanque

The Pétanque app allows you to quickly know who is the closest to the jack, and to measure the distance between the boules and the jack during a pétanque game.

Extremely simple and intuitive to use, just follow these few steps:
• Keep your device horizontally over the game and a photo is taken automatically using the embedded bubble level
• Tap on the jack to define its position and size
• Tap on the F/A to change the measuring mode (Fast/Accurate)
– Fast Mode:
• Tap on the pétanque ball you think is the closest, eventually adjust manually the circle so it touches the balls edge and check if another ball is closer
– Accurate Mode:
• Tap on the pétanque balls you want to make measurements, eventually adjust manually the circles so they touch the balls edges. You can also pinch the photo to zoom and validate your measurements accuracy.

And that's it! You can now see who is the closest or see the balls ranking and their estimated distances from the jack. It's that simple!
