About RapidDeploy Nimbus
The RapidDeploy Mobile apps are designed to allow first responders the ability to communicate and receive real-time situational awareness updates from the Nimbus CAD platform. RapidDeploy Mobile apps support real-time situational and operational awareness during emergency and non-emergency public safety event handling. First responders in the field can be updated with critical information for events that they have been assigned to. In addition, first responders in the field can update statuses, provide images and remarks from the scene of the event and receive information from the CAD system.
*Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
*Please note that this is not a consumer app, but to be used by customers of RapidDeploy as part of the Nimbus CAD solution.

- You can now update your status on an incident directly from an Incident Card on the Incident List.
- You can now configure your preferred Navigation Provider (Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze) via Settings to automatically open when initiating navigation to an incident.
- Additional Siri shortcut to update your incident status

- Actions performed on closed incidents are now restricted on mobile if the relevant system setting is enabled on Nimbus CAD.
- The Timeline & Notes screens now show the latest information without the need for user to manually refresh the incident.
- A note is added to the Timeline and Notes pages to indicate that an attachment, such as an image, was uploaded to the incident.
- Overall app stability and performance.
