Maps -
You: grant the app location services permission. We: map all of your tests, allowing you to click on any location for details. Wonder which cafe has the best Wi-Fi? Visit them all and let data decide. Multiple tests at the same location will all be grouped at that location.

We’ve overhauled the UI again, not because we didn’t get it right before but because we knew we could get it right-ier. And we did.

You told us about various bugs. We found the bugs. And we fixed them.

Behold, the latest version of our glorious app. In case you missed it, version 5 came with...
New UI and animations
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Our designers say it is in the careful application of a consistent aesthetic, in keeping with brand principles and accepted methodology. Yeah, we don't know either. But we think it's beautiful.
To compliment the UI overhaul from version 5, we've added bespoke test animations. Instead of simply waiting one or two seconds for a test to run, you'll be able to enjoy our delightful characters acting out the test - metaphorically! It's like mime performed by tiny, polygonal people.
And new with version 6 are...
Share function
Sharing is caring, but sometimes it's also bragging. Now if your test results are off the chain you can tell all your friends and enemies and family members.
Browse your results
They say never look back. But they also say, those who cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it. They say a lot of things. We say, now when you run a test on your smartphone you'll be able to browse past results. A classic they said we said situation.

In this version of the SamKnows Internet Measurement App, we've added the ability to view the last 30 days of Whitebox test results. Using the same login details as you would on the samknows.one dashboard, you'll be able to see 30 days worth of results for our Upload, Download, Latency, Packet Loss and Web browsing tests. How handy.
