According to new research, bugs can consume the equivalent of 60000 hot dogs each year, in a 150-block stretch of the Broadway/West Street corridor. Nice, huh?
Well, let's hope Terracraft’s bugs aren't that useful. Some of them squeezed themselves into production, and couple got squashed in this release.
1. Those pesky ads are not as intrusive. GUI was slightly changed to prevent window jumping whenever an advertisement appear. This can be easily noticed by iPad users (since their ads are taller), and were leading to some memory leaking and few crashes here and there.
2. People are confused about how to play (thanks anonymous statistics opted-in users). A not-so-subtle ballon will appear to inform players about the tutorial button. One day, this tutorial will be more “inlined”, but the quest system will suffice for now.
3. Still about quests, the screen is now a popover for iPad users, just because it’s easier to read.
There’s a lot of features and bugs queued for future releases. Don’t forget to go to Terracraft’s blog (http://blog.terracraftgame.com) to be in touch with development.
