Holy (formerly United Young) is an app to meet people who love Jesus, made by married couple Kathleen & Jonathan.

The app lets you connect with an inspiring selection of Christians near you every day.

See someone you’re interested in? Wave at them. If they wave back, we will connect you both, and you can chat!

Note: Christ-honoring dating is only available to those who are single and of age 18 and upward.

We welcome everyone who confesses Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and considers themselves a Christian (confessing the Nicene Creed) to join! We seek to connect the greater Christian community, and are united in our love for Jesus.

Whether you are Catholic, Nondenominational, Evangelical, Anglican, Baptist, Reformed, Orthodox, Pentecostal, Lutheran, Methodist, or are just at the beginning of your journey with Jesus, you are welcome to join our diverse community of believers!

This app was inspired by the call to unity (in Ephesians 4 & John 17) and the call to love and encourage one another (in Hebrews 10 & 1 Thessalonians 4). In addition, we were greatly inspired by Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s book “Life Together”. Bonhoeffer beautifully describes how we can see Jesus more clearly in the lives and testimonies of our brothers and sisters.

United Young is now Holy. This update packs some exciting improvements! The Discover section now lets you switch between different feeds. Want to see people only matching your preferences? Or look at profiles you’ve seen before? Or sort profiles by recently on or those nearby? Now you can. We hope this helps you connect with more of the great people in our community! We’ve also simplified profile actions. The “No, thanks” button is back, and you can easily write a message alongside everyone you wave at. Last but not least, you can now reset your account. Want a fresh start? This lets you clear out all profiles seen before, and reset any profiles you may have skipped, giving you another chance to connect. We are so grateful for all your feedback, which lets us improve the app! Blessings!

United Young is now HOLY. Thanks for joining us on this journey! This update packs a bunch of small improvements and bug fixes. You can now see your ended chats of the last 30 days. Ended a chat respectfully, but still want to go back and see what you wrote? Now you can. We also fixed a bug where a notification badge for a new message would misbehave. No more. Other notable improvements include blocking and reporting, where we added an option to say that you’re not interested. Finally, we clarified that you can use the app for free or choose to support us and get extra features. Either way, we’re so grateful for you being part of our community! Be blessed!

United Young is now HOLY. Thanks for all your great feedback! We’re so excited to keep improving the app. This update packs a bunch of refinements and bug fixes. We’ve added dating goals to help us connect you better. Accidentally skip a profile? You can now always access your last seen profile in History, for free! We improved our screen layouts for all of you who use Display Zoom. Haptic feedback has been reduced for a less buzzy and more serene experience. We updated our Community Guidelines with reminders to keep things holy, uplifting, and Christ-like. And wherever we could, we aimed to make the app more clear.
