In this mobile app update, we are introducing a few security enhancements, such as a two-factor authentication solution and a pin code as a fallback to biometrics login. Also available in this version is a new navigation menu and a completely redesigned settings screen which we hope you will like. In this mobile app version, we have made some small improvements to the registration process, making it easier for you to select your communication preferences when registering for an account with us.

As we continue to enhance our mobile app and improve its usability for our customers, we are excited to release this update which features our brand new registration process! It has now never been easier for you to register for an account and start sending money to the Philippines with us!

We’ve recently implemented Apple, Google and Facebook login to our mobile app to allow quicker and easier access to your account. It also makes the registration process much faster if you’re a new user. Alongside this, we have also made some changes to our Communication preferences screen, so make sure you check out this page in the app to choose how we get in touch with special offers, high exchange rates, competitions and more.


Other fixes:
If your transaction is automatically cancelled and you’re using a wallet discount, this amount will now be returned to your account wallet
Corporate receiver names and account numbers will now be displayed in full on the downloadable receipts
Fixed a small issue with our refer a friend scheme, where some claimable transactions would display as rejected
Fixed a styling issue with the Delete transaction button

We’ve been listening to your feedback and have made some further enhancements to our mobile app.
The updates in this version are as follows:


You are now able to refresh the transaction history page by swiping downwards
Loading placeholders are now in place when calculating the exchange rates and service fees
Transaction reference numbers have been increased to 9 digits, not including the prefix
Unpaid transactions will now be cancelled automatically 24 hours after they were created if payment hasn't been received
Underlying work to prepare the terrain for upcoming features and exciting promotions

In this update, we continue to enhance our mobile app’s usability by making some design changes and improving the overall customer journey throughout the app. You may also notice that our transaction reference number has been increased to 9 digits to help with the volume of transactions we receive.

Updated design for the payment confirmation pages
Transaction reference numbers have been increased to 9 digits, not including the prefix
The Sign out button will now only display on the Settings page
When adding a receiver, you can now deselect their bank details on the final step if this has been done in error
The process when getting verified should now work seamlessly and there is no need to refresh the app
Loading placeholders are now in place when the user has a poor internet connection
If no internet connection is detected, users will be notified by an on-screen message
Unpaid transactions will now be cancelled automatically 24 hours after they were created
Other minor tweaks and improvements

We've made some updates to cash collection transactions, meaning you will now need to select a pickup point for your receiver in the Philippines. There are over 10,000 pickup locations for your receiver to head to, all you need to do is choose the store they would like to pick up the cash from, and that's it!

We have also updated the SSS contribution amounts and worked on other minor fixes and improvements.

UK Remitters Only - We've just launched a brand new payment option, Instant Bank Transfer! This is now the fastest and easiest way to pay for your transactions with us. If you currently pay via Debit Card, the new Instant Bank Transfer payment option is much cheaper.
