About TaalQuiz
Struggling to learn all the small details of taal? Trying to find that extra 1% to go up a symbol? Recall the frantic moments before the test as you try learn for the half marks? With this app you’ll be better prepared and we’d be glad to see you increase your grade. TaalQuiz was built by students for students with the aim of increasing learning efficiency and your marks.

Getting started on the app is very simple with a relatively small download and no sign-up required. The content of TaalQuiz has been specifically tailored to virtually any school student taking Afrikaans as a First Additional Language. TaalQuiz has four sections which are tested in the majority of Afrikaans exams. The app has 176 intensive forms, 41 conjunctions and their respective groups, 28 negative changing words and 26 question words.
TaalQuiz eliminates the challenges that conventional learning methods pose. The app is incredibly simple to use with few buttons to distract attention away from the learning process and reduce engagement. The true beauty behind TaalQuiz is that students effortlessly go through the questions testing their knowledge before clicking “Show Answer” to bring up the answer. Don’t worry about learning the order of the answers either. The app has a neat shuffle feature to randomise the order of the questions.
The conjunctions, negatives and question words section are multiple choice questions to aid learning efficiency by exposing students to more content in less time. The options presented in the negative and question word tab are different each time and the arrangement of the options are also shuffled.
The revision tab allows you to go through questions you may be specifically struggling with. Users have the freedom to add however many questions of any type to the tab by simply clicking the plus button.
