■ Added support for interactive playback controls
• Using the playback controls no longer has a flashing animation on iOS & iPadOS 17.

Fixes an issue that showed blank app icons in the app.

■ Fixes blurry artwork on large widgets with large artwork.

■ If you're still facing issues with the widgets staying blank on the Home Screen, and have assigned a custom background image to the widget, please try and remove the image and add it again.

Fixed lower resolution artwork on some devices.

Fixed the blank widget issue that was occurring on certain models like iPhone 11, iPhone XR, iPhone SE, etc.

Fixed an issue where the artwork for non-library music wouldn’t load for Apple Music users who had the WidgetPod app installed for over 6 months.

• Turn on this setting to prevent your device from automatically sleeping whenever the WidgetPod player screen is visible.

■ Artwork Corner Style
• Choose between flat, curved & circular corners.

■ Added a button on the full-screen player to launch the active player app.

■ Refinements to interface to make it clearer that in-app setups require WidgetPod Pro to link to Home Screen widgets.
• This was essential since we realized that some users thought that Home Screen widgets would show in-app setups without unlocking pro and wanted to keep the in-app customization options open for everyone to test so that even free users can know what's possible when they unlock pro.

■ (Apple Music) The previous button now skips to the beginning of the track if it's played more than 3 seconds otherwise skips to the previous track.

■ Added a release notes page inside of the app which appears whenever the user updates to a new version.
• This was added because these days many of us have Auto-Update enabled and often miss the announcement of new features.

■ Fixes and refinements.

It makes us really glad to see so many of you enjoying the app. We really appreciate that you all have been spreading the word about WidgetPod, it helps us tremendously.

We’re so sorry that some users who were on iOS 14.5 beta weren’t able to add widgets to their Home Screen due to a bug in the previous versions. That’s fixed now. Thank you all for helping us figure out what the issue was related to.

This version also includes some more fixes and improvements.

We’re finally live on the App Store, and are so glad to see so many users enjoying the app.

• Added option to hide the Mix Noise button.
• Added option to choose your preferred Apple Music player app, so now you can have Marvis or any other player of your choice open when using “Redirect to Player App”.
