In MobileTech Admin, control whether event-based syncing is used
An option was added to MobileTech Administration to control whether event-based syncing is used on devices. UseEventBasedSync is a global setting that determines whether event-based syncing is used to sync to the host system after a service call is created, an appointment is created or completed, or a timesheet report is requested.
Configure MobileTech Admin to consume the WennSoft Registration service over SSL
Previously, MobileTech Administration couldn’t be set up to consume the WennSoft Registration service over SSL. Now you can indicate whether the registration web service was installed on a secure website.
iOS 9 compatibility
Issues Fixed
Task list performance enhancements
Updates were made to the task list functionality to improve performance.
Subtasks sync to the device
If you created a service call in Service Management and assigned a task that had subtasks to an appointment but not to a piece of equipment, the subtasks weren’t synced to the device. This issue also occurred if you assigned a task list that had tasks or subtasks to a piece of equipment on the appointment. The subtasks now sync to the device.
Lock, Wipe, and Force Full Sync options available in Woodford
The Lock, Wipe, and Force Full Sync security options now are available in Resco Woodford.
AutoStatusUpdate doesn’t update the appointment status until the assigned technician syncs
If the AutoStatusUpdate setting is set to a status in the setup options, the appointment status isn’t updated until the assigned technician syncs.
Task list focus remains in place after you complete and save a task
Previously, if you completed and saved a task and then returned to the task list, the focus moved to the top of the task list. Now, the focus remains where you left off in the task list.
Resolution note text is displayed with the appointment history when UseAppointmentResolutionNote = True
If UseAppointmentResolutionNote = True in the setup options, resolution note text wasn’t displayed with the appointment history. The resolution note text now is displayed when you request history from the service call or equipment records.
