4.7.1 2023-09-28
Various optimizations, minor bug fixes and updated components.
4.6.2 2022-10-29
Various minor corrections and performance optimizations, as well as updated components
4.6.0 2022-09-15
For all myatmo Premium users: here are iOS 16 lock screen widgets for your Netatmo weather station! myatmo can now create lock screen widgets on iOS 16 for the most important measured values, namely:

• Main module: temperature, humidity, air pressure, CO², volume.
• Outdoor module: temperature, humidity, dew point, heat index.
• Anemometer: Wind and gust speeds and wind directions.
• Rain Gauge: amount of rain for the current day.

These are just the most important values that most users want to see on the lock screen. It's impossible to provide all available values in separate widgets, as that would result in a plethora of widgets. Therefore, the new iOS 16 lock screen widgets are limited to the most important values.

Please note:

• Before the iOS 16 lock screen widgets can be used, the myatmo iOS app MUST be started once, otherwise the myatmo iOS 16 lock screen widgets are not registered in the system!
• If several netatmo weather stations are configured in myatmo: which station should be displayed in a widget can be specified during (!) widget selection (after placing a widget on the lock screen) by briefly tapping on the widget.

Also in this update: various optimizations, minor corrections and performance improvements.

4.4.8 2021-12-14

4.2.4 2021-01-03
This update brings you another widget background color and a few important bug fixes:

• New: another widget background color: a slate gray with matching dark mode, for those who don't like it that colorful and for whom the 'normal' gray is too light
• Fixed: we gave the widget configuration card the white standard background again (the background color somehow changed automatically during the necessary adjustments for the new background colors)
• Fixed: a problem with the precipitation diagram for the last 30 days, which was related to the turn of the year
• Several other minor fixes and performance improvements

Please note:

• As with every update, the myatmo iOS app must be started at least once so that new widget options and configurations are available
• Please DO NOT change widget settings such as color, dark mode, display of units or the selected station too often within a short period of time, otherwise the netatmo data server may block the data update and / or iOS may not update the widget again for the time being
• Family sharing for in-app purchases: although Apple made various types of in-app purchases available through family sharing at the end of 2020: non-self-renewing subscriptions, such as a myatmo 'Premium' purchase, are still NOT approved for family sharing by Apple. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it, because it didn't grow on our crap. Subscriptions that can be shared with family members must be 'self-renewing' and listed under 'Subscriptions' in your App Store account. Since myatmo 'Premium' is not such a 'self-renewing' subscription, it is not available for family sharing. myatmo 'Premium' can of course still be used on all devices under the same Apple ID

All the best for 2021 again, stay healthy!
4.0.6 2020-10-21
This update contains various optimizations and a few bug fixes. Nothing great, but nothing particularly worth mentioning either. :o)

For more than two years we have been providing all 'Premium' users with extensions to myatmo, with new diagrams, with the rapid implementation of new iOS features and much more, such as the quick solution of the 'station name problem', as explained several times in the previous news. We even implemented various user requests within a few updates, sometimes even immediately (if technically possible). We are sure that there is hardly any other app in the AppStore that is maintained as intensively as myatmo. The fact that there are always users who can never be satisfied is in the nature of things and is part of our work, just as it is part of any other work. That's life! :o)

However, all of this is only possible with continuous support on your part. We would like to thank all 'Premium' users very much! We hear from many users that only with myatmo does a netatmo weather station become what it should be: a comprehensive system with a multitude of analysis options and an easy-to-use tool for your own weather and climate observations. Many of you hardly use the original netatmo app anymore and almost only use myatmo. Thanks a lot for this! We will try to make you happy with new functions and enhancements in the future too, thanks to your support!
4.0.3 2020-10-06
Widget Party Part 4? No, this time 'just' a small interim update :o) *** Please read below for an update on the 'station name problem' ***

• New: the difference to the previous day is now displayed in the large widget for sunrise and sunset times
• Various fixes and minor improvements

Once again a few words on the problem of changing the name of your weather station:

As mentioned before, after netatmo has made significant changes to the configuration websites for your weather station, it is currently not possible to assign a name to a weather station or to change an already existing one. The whole thing is actually intended by netatmo, because they want to switch to a 'house-module-system' in which there are no longer separate weather stations, but only a sum of modules within a house. All of this can be summarized under the name 'Smarthome' and your netatmo weather stations should now be integrated as part of a larger whole, regardless of whether you have other netatmo 'Smarthome' devices or not.

So, what now? It is planned that your 'old' station name will soon be replaced by a combination of 'House' and 'Name of the main module' of the netatmo weather station or just the name of the main module. We were told that by netatmo. An option to freely set a name only for your weather station (as it was possible before) is no longer possible and a revival of such a function is not planned (at least currently) on netatmo's side. We still hope that netatmo realizes that this has been planned in the wrong direction. With the best will in the world, we cannot say whether there will really be insight.

After we had discussed the whole thing with some myatmo users and had to realize that netatmos ideas really do not correspond to what weather station owners want, we decided to develop our own 'station name alias' system and integrate it into myatmo, so that you can do it you can still flexibly name your weather station as YOU want, at least within myatmo.

We will try to provide you with the next update, which will solve the station name chaos at least within myatmo, as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your patience.

3.0.13 2019-11-22
Performance improvements
3.0.12 2019-11-06
• New selection dialogues in various areas of myatmo - thereby better performance; it also fixes a few minor issues
• Layout corrections on iPads in the diagram landscape view
• Minor corrections and performance optimizations
• Some minor bugfixes

Reason for this short update cycle: this version also fixes a problem caused by a broken iOS component. Apple has provided a solution to this problem first on 05.11.19 shortly after v3.0.11 was in the pipeline to be released...
3.0.11 2019-11-06
Minor corrections and performance optimizations
3.0.10 2019-10-28
Many of you will not even have noticed, others are just desperate, and asked themselves: „How can they release something like that?“: myatmo v3.0.8 and v3.0.9 were an example of how software and flawlessness are two contradictory terms ...

So, what was the problem in v3.0.8 and v3.0.9? Let's explain it roughly: myatmo uses various third-party components. One of these components (A) also uses other third-party components (B). And that happened: For B an update was published, which was installed in A. B caused hidden problems in A, but these did not always occur and remained unknown and unrecognized for a long time. So we included A into myatmo (not knowing that is might cause trouble), tested (as always) extensively, and everything was fine. Then v3.0.8 went live and: BANG! myatmo crashed immediately for a huge number of users. That could not be, we thought ...

The search for the cause started here and it was extremely difficult because everything worked smoothly on all our test devices. We reset some of the changes we linked to the problem, tested, and released v3.0.9 (Apple was kind enough to test myatmo expeditly). We were sure that the problem was solved. But no, it was BANG again! During the night from Saturday to Sunday, we reset myatmo and all updated components to previous versions. Fortunately, the problem suddenly appeared on one of our test devices, but only on one and only 2-3 times. All of our other devices still had no problem with the buggy version.

Since Apple checks every app update, and this usually may take several days, we were not able to release the update as quickly as we wanted. In addition, it was weekend. We removed the current version from the AppStore to avoid further frustration for you and us.

All this for clarification. "You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs": Apple can't, we can't, and nobody else can either. Believe us: this was like a nuclear meltdown for us. S**t happens. We apologize for these problems and the resulting impairments. Sorry!

3.0.2 2019-09-26
Various performance improvements and minor bug fixes. Some users report that after updating to a new myatmo version, there are issues with the myatmo Watch app. In such a case, it always helps to delete myatmo from the iPhone (and the Watch), reboot both devices, and then reinstall myatmo on both the iPhone and the Watch.
3.0.1 2019-09-20
v3.0.1: This update fixes a few minor issues. Please note the notes on the new features in

v3.0.0: Here's myatmo v3 - with a layout optimized for iOS 13 and the full support of the new iOS 13 'Dark Mode'. PLEASE NOTE: due to significant changes in myatmo's source code, you need to re-configure some myatmo configuration settings and your myatmo color settings after installing this update!

• New: support for the iOS 13 'Dark Mode'
• New: altogether approx. 30% faster

Furthermore:

• New: The new iOS 13 'Dark Mode' can also be activated separately for myatmo only. This means that even if system-wide 'Light Mode' is enabled, myatmo can be switched exclusively to 'Dark Mode' (or vice versa). This can be activated in the myatmo settings
• New: anemometer: the wind direction is now displayed as points in the diagram for wind as well as for gusts
• New: anemometer: select alternative wind arrow in the settings
• New: decimal places in the module overview now displayed smaller (as far as possible)
• New: the myatmo color settings can now be deactivated in the settings and font colors dependent on the system display mode (white or black) can be used for all data types: simple and fast
• Many small changes and optimizations on various diagrams, almost everything in connection with the 'Dark Mode'
• New: almost all icons and icons have been revised and replaced with updated versions
• Various bug fixes and corrections in the 'Today Widget' and in the 'Watch App'
• Updated chart engine with many minor enhancements and bug fixes

We strongly recommend to upgrade to iOS 13, as this is a not inconsiderable increase in performance for myatmo (the performance of the data update will of course continue to depend on the netatmo data server). The current minimum requirement for using myatmo is iOS 11. However, we will drop iOS 11 support soon: we have to keep up with the times. 98% of myatmo users always have installed the latest version of iOS anyway.

2.5.9 2019-09-02
OK, we did not manage to provide you with the next update of myatmo until the release of iOS 13 - we want to present you improvements and bug fixes as fast as possible. Therefore, now a little quick fix which resolves a few minor problems and also includes a few preparations for the upcoming iOS 13 update. :o)
2.5.8 2019-08-16
Various bug fixes and optimizations. This is (probably) our last little update before our big iOS 13 update, which, almost completed, is currently getting a little tweaking and will be available with the official availability of iOS 13 (or shortly thereafter). myatmo will then support new iOS 13 technologies, be much faster, and bring along a polished layout.
2.5.7 2019-08-03
Various performance optimizations and bug fixes in various areas of myatmo
2.5.6 2019-07-13
Various small optimizations of various diagrams and, as always, some smaller bug fixes
2.5.5 2019-07-04
This update fixes a critical bug in previous versions that caused the darksky forecast data to be corrupt under some circumstances
2.5.4 2019-07-02
This update includes a few minor bug fixes. Beside that: to all weather enthusiasts who own (besides netatmo) also another weather station which transmits their data to Wunderground: we will soon have something fancy for you ... Further information will follow asap ... :o)

• Optimized performance when generating the history graph
• Improved handling of data errors in various chart types
• Minor bug fixes and other optimizations
2.5.1 2019-05-14
Minor corrections to the new history diagram for freely definable time periods
2.5.0 2019-05-10
This time once again a new feature for all myatmo 'Premium' users: the history diagram in landscape view is now available for any period of up to 14 days!

The changes in detail:

• New: the landscape view history graph of the most important measurement values is now optionally available for the last 14 days. This new feature can be reached via the small button with the 4 arrows; then (on the landscape view) tap onto the calendar icon button on the top right. Please note that because of the amount of data and the resulting limited readability, the possible time span is limited to 14 days. Furthermore: this new feature is only available for myatmo 'Premium' users
• New: now you can zoom the history diagram in landscape view with two fingers
• Optimized: we've tweaked a ton of little things in the history diagram, like the tooltips and various other rendering options
• In addition, this update includes (as always) various minor bug fixes and optimizations

Once again 'Thanks very much' to all 'Premium' users! :o)
2.4.8 2019-04-14
Bug fixes
2.4.7 2019-03-14
• Optimized retrieval of weather forecast data
• Various minor optimizations and improvements
• Several code areas optimized which improves the overall performance
2.4.6 2019-03-01
Various optimizations and internal preparations for future functional enhancements
2.4.5 2019-02-22
Various bug fixes and performance improvements
2.4.4 2019-02-10
This update includes the following changes and optimizations:

• Improved: updated chart component, optimized in many areas, including bug fixes and performance optimizations
• Improved: various layout optimizations, especially for themes that deviate from the standard theme
• Improved: the 'Share' feature did not work perfectly in myatmo's 'non-premium' version under certain conditions - we have improved that

Also:

• Several minor changes to the 'Premium' model regarding the availability of basic features of myatmo v1 after a myatmo 'Premium' period expires
• A lot of users have been asking for a new 'premium' buy option over the last few months: many of you want to buy myatmo 'premium' for a much longer period of time. From now on, a purchase of 48 months is possible, at a further reduced price compared to the purchase of 12 months

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the many 'Premium' users who followed us from v1 and, of course, the many new 'Premium' users who joined us in the last 10 months since the release of v2!
2.4.3 2019-01-30
This release fixes a few minor logical issues and tweaks some details to the layout.
2.4.2 2019-01-24
This update brings you a new function to quickly and easily share screenshots of module data of individual modules from the module overview screen:

• New: myatmo can now take small screenshots of your module data (as well as the history diagram) from the module overview to share on Facebook, Twitter etc., also via WhatsApp or iMessage, via email or you export the screenshot to your camera roll. You will find this new function in the left-hand menu of the main functions, which is accessible on the top left of the module overview via the button with the three points. Please note: for 'non-premium users' the screenshots are only available with a myatmo watermark displayed

Furthermore, we have fixed some tiny issues in this update. :o)
2.4.1 2019-01-16
We'll continue with a few minor updates and enhancements, as well as the announced iOS 11 requirement:

• New: if the most recent measurement data is older than one hour, then myatmo now displays a warning, because either in such a case the netatmo weather station is not correctly connected to a WLAN network, or the netatmo data server does not work correctly. Such problems have happened again and again in the past few weeks and we have therefore incorporated this new warning message
• New: in the comparison diagram and in the min-max diagram of the landscape view, the last selected starting year is now saved and preselected again when the diagram is called again. Please note: after a new year started, the new year will not be automatically selected by myatmo until the month of March, because otherwise there will be no data for a large part of the months and a diagram presentation will not make much sense
• New: in the large view of the new comparison diagram, the labeling of the Y-axes can now optionally be displayed in color (on / off via the Options menu in the upper right corner of the comparison diagram). Please note: some values use the same Y-axis (temperature + dew point and wind + gusts). Here then the set color for 'temperature' or 'wind' is used. In the small view of the diagram in the module overview, the labels are still displayed in black so as not to adversely affect readability
• New: Minimum requirement iOS 11 now - we had announced this with the last update. Since 98% of all myatmo users already use iOS 12 and a meaningful and problem-free development is only possible on iOS 11 and 12, this raise of the minimum requirement is necessary. All users who continue to rely on iOS 10 can still access the latest version of myatmo (v2.4.0) available for this version of iOS
• With the discontinuation of iOS 10 compatibility, various code areas of myatmo could be optimized and redundant code has been removed
• Minor bug fixes and optimizations

Please note the following: in the myatmo 'Settings' there is an option to display temperatures below 0 ° Celsius (<32 ° Fahrenheit) in inverse color. This is often the cause of confusion, because if the temperature (or dew point) in the diagram never rises above the freezing point, then the graph is always shown in inverse color and one wonders why the color of the line deviates from the color set in the myatmo 'Settings'. Keep this in mind when the outside temperature is permanently below freezing. Alternatively, you can also disable the inverse color option in the myatmo 'Settings'.
2.4.0 2019-01-07
This version includes various layout improvements as well as improved monitoring of potential problems connecting to the netatmo data server. Furthermore, this update comes with an updated chart component that fixes a number of minor issues.

Please note the following important note: 98% of all myatmo users use iOS 12 and since we have to keep up with the times and as a meaningful and above all problem-free development of myatmo is not possible on iOS 10, up from the upcoming version of myatmo at least iOS 11 is required; for iOS 10 users, this version here (v2.4.0) will be the last one available.
2.3.7 2018-12-29
This update fixes various iCloud Sync issues. It also includes some bugfixes and optimizations.
2.3.6 2018-12-23
This update fixes a rather rare and sporadic problem with positioning the weather forecast bar at the bottom of the screen. Furthermore, we have optimized several areas of myatmo and corrected a few more minor errors. We also optimized the localizations and removed unnecessary translations.

We wish a happy and peaceful 2019!
2.3.5 2018-12-22
Some internal optimizations and performance improvements
2.3.4 2018-12-18
A little tinsel, a few bells and a few candles? No, just a few bug fixes and optimizations to make sure everything goes smoothly over Christmas (and beyond). We thank the many 'Premium' users: it is a pleasure to provide you with new features again and again. In 2019 it will continue for you! Merry Christmas and all the best for 2019!
2.3.3 2018-12-14
With this update, there are some smaller, but still very useful additions and improvements:

• New: Dew point now also available in the comparison chart
• New: In the comparison chart on the module overview, a new dialog can now be used to select which data types to display. The dialog for selecting the data types can be opened through a button in the lower left corner under the comparison chart. This new option is also available in the landscape view of the comparison chart, but there you will find it in the options menu in the upper right corner. The settings are stored separately both for the comparison diagram on the module overview as well as for the landscape view
• New: often requested, now ready for you to use: the air pressure change diagram now has a new display option: in addition to the hourly and the three-hour presentation of the air pressure changes, it is now also possible to switch to an hourly display, which compares with the air pressure three hours ago. This way of looking at changes in air pressure is common in meteorology. By default, this option is now enabled. If you want to go back to the old 1 or 3 hour display, you can set this in the myatmo settings
• New: the above-mentioned options for the display of the changes in air pressure will now be explained in the myatmo settings by a short text to prevent ambiguity
• Fixed: as usual, we erased a few small bugs

We wish all myatmo users a Merry Christmas.
2.3.2 2018-12-06
Finally it's time again with a great new feature for you, practically as an early Christmas gift for all 'myatmo Premium' users. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it:

• New: on the module overview page you will find a new function next to the 'Refresh' button on the top right: a co mpletely new diagram of the last <24 hours of measurement history gives you a perfect overview of the readings of the most important sensors of your netatmo weather station. Outside temperature and outside air humidity as well as air pressure are displayed together in a diagram. If you have an anemometer and a rain gauge, this graph will also show you the readings of these two sensors in conjunction with the other readings. Please note that this new diagram can be enlarged into the landscape view via the button with the four arrows. This (and the 'pinning' of the diagram in the module overview) is only available for 'myatmo Premium' users. A prerequisite for this diagram is that the 'Optimized X-Axis Values' option is enabled in the myatmo prreferences. Also important: to improve readability, in this diagram, with the exception of the rain data, all values are shown as a line chart (not filled).

And also:

• Optimized: the 'No new data available' message can now be (de)activated in the settings
• Optimized: various localization corrections and improvements
• Fixed: we found some minor issues and fixed them all for you :o)
2.3.1 2018-11-26
For the annoying 'server topic' you'll find some info further below; here are the new features in this update:

• Workaround: this update includes a solution for certain cases in which the netatmo data server for some modules under certain conditions does not return any summaries of the last measurements to myatmo - we do not know when exactly that is the case, though, but it looks like netatmo once again changed their server software without communicating the changes. Anyway, myatmo can now also deal with such unpredictable cases which appeared the first time after the netatmo data server failures last week
• Optimized: improved diagram engine in many details, including various bug fixes and performance optimizations
• Optimized: we have improved the new server warning in many internal details
• Optimized: various optimizations for the new 2018 iPad generation

Please note:

Unfortunately, the problems with the netatmo data server have increased more and more recently. We thought it could only get better, but sadly we were wrong. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Both for you and for us. Therefore, our request to you: contact netatmo in such cases. Maybe that will help at some point. We thank you!

• The netatmo server warning introduced by us in v2.3.0, which is displayed when we know that the netatmo data server is causing problems, has priority for 'myatmo Premium' users. This means that only 'myatmo Premium' users will be informed quickly. The reason is simple: to keep an eye on the netatmo server we just need additional resources. Resources that cost time and money. Therefore 'myatmo Premium' users are treated preferentially here
• Server monitoring can only partially be automated due to the variety of possible server problems. That means: checking the availability of a server can be automated, but checking the data sent by the server to myatmo for consistency and checking if there's actually data missing (which happened a short time ago): this can only be automated with extremely great effort and because of that we do still check that manually (!) for you by keeping an eye on the data we receive for our test weather stations here
• Server problems do not have to occur globally. It may be that one or the other user is experiencing problems with the netatmo data server, while at the same time everything is running perfectly for other users. Therefore, we give no guarantee that our new server warning will promptly notify you of any problem with the netatmo data server
• Very important: we do not give any guarantee (in terms of the netatmo data server) to the availability or freedom from errors of the netatmo server, as the netatmo server is the responsibility of netatmo
2.3.0 2018-11-22
Some minor bug fixes and optimizations. Furthermore, we ask you to read the following notes regarding our favorite topic ... ;o)

Yes, it was time again: on 20.11.2018 and on 21.11.2018, too, a lot of you noticed a total failure of myatmo obviously due to changes to the netatmo data servers, or due to a bug on the server software. Only netatmo knows about the real cause. The interface provided by netatmo, via which myatmo retrieves data from the netatmo data server, did not return data to myatmo (and also not to other third-party apps) for about 2 hours until we and other developers informed netatmo about this problem. We are already used to the fact that there are problems with the servers almost weekly. Therefore, we ask you: in such cases, contact netatmo directly: either through the forum (http://forum.netatmo.com) or through customer support (http://support.netatmo.com). This is the fastest and most direct way to report and fix such server issues. The more users complain, the greater the likelihood that something will change. Many thanks!

Because of the constant server problems, we sat down and with this update enabled a long dormant function in myatmo, with which we can activate a corresponding warning in myatmo from here in case of a server failure. Since the causes of a server failure or a malfunction can be diverse, and it may well be that the server is running well but still provides no or incomplete data to myatmo, this new warning function can only be activated manually by us, ie. the whole thing does not work automatically. Since we are almost always there for you and have the netatmo server and its function in mind, we can still provide you with the appropriate warning when there are server problems again. Provided the problems occur at humane times. :o)

You will not see anything of this new feature until there are server issues again and we are aware of that. The feature does not constantly check the status of the server (in order not to stress our own server), but only about every 5-15 minutes while you interact with myatmo.

We do all this because we are tired of leaving you in the rain, uninformed in such situations. Nevertheless, it is of course still so that the netatmo data server and its function is beyond our control and only netatmo can fix the cause of server problems. We thank you for your understanding and hope with you that the netatmo data servers will someday be working perfectly well in the future.
2.2.11 2018-11-16
This update contains mainly internal performance optimizations and a few bug fixes. In addition, we optimized the new min-max markers in the landscape view graphs as they did not work as expected under certain conditions. Furthermore, we have optimized a few minor cosmetic subtleties in all the charts and pulled the whole app taut by removing some superfluous code. For the new 2018 iPhone X devices we have again turned on some screws and improved the layout in various areas for these devices.
2.2.10 2018-11-13
This time, in addition to the usual optimizations and bug fixes, once again something new for you:

• New: in the module overview and in the standard diagrams of the landscape view, the min-max values of a respective period are now highlighted in color, in the form of light blue or light red areas. This visualizes periods of time with min-max values and you no longer have to laboriously search for the corresponding areas on the X-axis. Please note: this new function is not available for the rain gauge, and for the wind gauge (so far) only in the module overview. In the myatmo settings, this marking of the min-max values can be switched off (globally). By default, it is activated, i. you will immediately notice this new feature. If you have 'Optimized X-Axis values' deactivated in the myatmo settings, then the new min-max areas are not visible, because 'Optimized X-Axis values' is a requirement for this new feature.
• Optimized: the weather forecast bar is now slightly larger in height on all iPhone X devices to make scrolling within the bar easier. Furthermore, weather forecast data for non-premium users is available again for the first week of myatmo usage.
• Fixed: various minor bug fixes when displaying air pressure changes.
2.2.9 2018-11-08
This update includes some minor detail enhancements, bug fixes and general performance enhancements. :o)
2.2.8 2018-11-01
This time we just iron out a few wrinkles and below you'll find something to read again ... :o)

• Optimized: improved data labeling in the barometric pressure variation diagram in landscape view
• Optimized: improved activity display during data refresh (see our note below)
• Optimized: various new icons including a new module for the battery level indicator as a warning when the battery charge is very low
• Optimized: some more improvements of the layout on iPhone X devices
• Fixed: under certain circumstances the activity indicator did not disappear once a data refresh completed
• A few more minor bug fixes

And once again, a 'side note' for you: some myatmo users wonder why data retrieval takes longer compared to the original netatmo app. Well, that's quick and easy to explain and should actually be clear: myatmo requests a huge (!) amount of data from the netatmo data server in comparison to the original netatmo app. For each individual module, readings of the last 24 hours are retrieved and processed: where the original app shows you 'only' single values for overview, myatmo displays diagrams, data histories and many other (partially calculated and interdependent) values that you can't find in the original app at all. Furthermore, the internet speed and of course the speed and availability of the netatmo data server is crucial for how fast myatmo loads all the necessary data. Comparing myatmo in this respect with the original netatmo app is like comparing apples and pears: the original netatmo app sends one request to the netatmo data server to create a rough overview; myatmo sends up to 8 (!) requests to provide virtually all important data at first sight! Data richness requires data, otherwise no richness. :o) Have fun with myatmo!
2.2.7 2018-10-24
We've improved a whole bunch of things for you again, and we also have a few side notes for you further below.

• New: the new graph for displaying the barometric pressure changes is now a little bit coarser in the resolution, either one-hourly or three-hourly (default). Changes in air pressure are usually considered in meteorology in a 3-hour resolution, that's why we changed that accordingly. Optionally, this resolution can also be set to one hour in the myatmo settings. Please note that this only affects the display of charts which themselves have a resolution no larger than 'One measurement / 3 hours'. Larger periods of time indicate the changes in air pressure in optimal resolution (ie always compared to the previous value), otherwise it becomes too confusing
• New: labels for the barometric pressure change values in the diagram landscape view
• New: a thin dotted zero line for the barometric pressure change values in the appropriate graphs
• Optimized: we optimized the X-axis generation for the diagrams in the landscape view
• A few more bug fixes

Sidenotes:

1.) The netatmo data server, which supplies data to third-party apps like myatmo, is currently extremely (!) unreliable and will return an error message to myatmo on every other request. This can be HTTP 403, 404 or 500 errors. Unfortunately, this problem is beyond our control and only netatmo can fix the cause. We think that netatmo has changed something in the server infrastructure, or the servers are just overloaded. The problem exists since Friday, 19/10/2018 and was reported by us to netatmo. We were promised that the problem will be investigated, but at the moment it is only getting worse and not better. We hope things will be fine again, soon. Feel free to get in touch with netatmo to discuss the server issues by contacting netatmo and inquire personally, at http://support.netatmo.com

2.) myatmo's handwritten source code now has a volume of around 150.000 lines! These 150.000 lines of code are ready for you and fall down nicely packaged from the skies of the App-Store, for us these many lines are the result of long thinking, programming, and testing work, and do not fall down from any sky at all. In novels, typos are ugly but usually have no effect on the story itself. This is different in software development, because there a small error in line 10 may take revenge in program flow in line 96.872, and then perhaps only on certain devices or in a particular data query. As we mentioned earlier, we are following the 'release early, release often' guideline, unlike many other developers who like to leave their users alone for months with such things. We do not, and we are sure that myatmo will not stay with the 150.000 lines of code, because it gives us a lot of pleasure to keep you happy with new features and optimizations. And surely with bug fixes, too. :o) Many thanks to all myatmo Premium users!
2.2.6 2018-10-20
Nothing dramatic this time; but since we always want you to have a perfectly working version of myatmo, we post a small update this week, which is 'again' related to a problem with the netatmo data server. We sometimes wonder if this will ever stop ... :o)

• Optimized: the 'Area map' now retrieves station data up to three times from the netatmo data server if requests time out, which (unfortunately) happens quite often for some reason. In such cases, loading the data takes longer, but no error message appears, provided that the timeout occurs only temporarily and not permanently. As mentioned before: the netatmo data server, its availability and its performance are beyond our control! If there are problems on the server side, then we can only react, but never turn off the real causes
• Fixed: a few localization issued have been resolved
• Various minor bug fixes and optimizations
2.2.5 2018-10-16
Dear myatmo users, once again we have come up with something new for you and built it into myatmo: a visualization of the barometric pressure changes. Perfect to understand and track the sometimes rapid pressure drops before and during the next storm in autumn ... So: the next storm can come! :o)

The details:

• New: myatmo now displays barometric pressure changes in the module overview as a new chart type. In the landscape view, this is integrated in the air pressure diagram (the data can optionally be faded in or out via the legend). These changes in air pressure are shown as green and red lines, or bars. Red means 'falling air pressure', green 'rising air pressure'. This way you can immediately see periods of falling or rising air pressure, how strong these changes are, and how long these changes are. This new feature is especially interesting for periods of several days to weeks, which you can visualize in the landscape graph view. Please note that this new feature is only available for 'Premium users' in the landscape view, for 'Non-premium users' in the module overview only, limited to the last 24 hours
• Many more small optimizations and a few bug fixes
2.2.4 2018-10-06
This update fixes a long-standing problem that we have never been able to handle properly since it did not show up on any of our test devices until a few days ago! Finally! Yes!

• Fixed: in the 'Today Widget' and in the Apple Watch app, under certain circumstances some users saw a multiple listing of a newly added rain or wind gauge
• Fixed: some problems with the data refresh for Apple Watch complications have been fixed
• Fixed: a few timezone issues have been resolved

Furthermore, please note the news from the previous version, as it contained important updates.
