From the 7th of March 2022, eligible families with more than one child aged 5 or under attending approved early learning services will get a higher ChildCare Subsidy (CCS). The KindiCare Search with Subsidy feature now lets you see your estimated subsidy and gap payment for one child, as well as the estimated subsidy and gap payment for additional children if you have more than one child under 5 attending an approved early learning service.
From the 7th of March 2022, eligible families with more than one child aged 5 or under attending approved early learning services will get a higher ChildCare Subsidy (CCS). With lockdowns across the country finally at an end, we're excited to introduce the latest version of the KindiCare App to make your search for early childhood education and care services even easier. The latest version of the KindiCare App makes it even easier for those searching for early learning services. Check out these improvements:
- You can now save your favourite locations, such as your home, work or even a suburb you're moving as well as set one of your saved locations as a 'default' location for the KindiCare App to use. This is especially helpful if you're looking for childcare services, and even properties on Domain, when you're on the move.
- Improved integration with Domain for KindiCare App to make it even easier to view residential properties for sale or rent near.
- Updates of the KindiCare App landing page to improve loading.
- Improvements to childcare centre listings to improve the speed of loading.
- Additional video content support for centre virtual tours and videos.

- Improvements to sharing so you can now share Hints, Tips and Stories articles with your family, friends and colleagues any way you choose
- Improvements to direct messaging with childcare providers for enquiries and applications to improve engagement between parents and providers
