New name, who dis?
PlanSnap is now Yoller! We wanted a new name to match our bold ambitions to help you make lightening-fast plans with friends around the world, but we're still the same app you know and love underneath.
So, what does Yoller mean?
Lots of people say it sounds like a made up word that makes them think of yo, holler, yala yala ('come on, come on' in Arabic) and YOLO... But Yoller IS actually a real word, in Scottish. It means "To speak in a loud, excited, angry or incoherent manner" and yollering means "the confused noise of an excited crowd." If that isn't the most perfect description of what happens when you get a group together to make plans we don't know what is!
Has anything else changed?
Nope, the app you know and love is still the same, but this version features our fresh new name. We have very exciting new features to share with you soon though... Watch this space.

We’ve improved phone number and pin checks, this should fix all the issues experienced during signup recently - Thank you to everyone who contacted us and helped us work out what was going on.
We’ve updated the notepad to prevent it from being deleted accidentally (we’re still looking at what happens if you did).
Last, but not least we’ve thrown in a few tweaks to speed up loading times, another step towards seeing real friends in real-life, really quickly. Happy planning!

Sometimes the auto-suggest, so pleased with its ability to detect dates, could get a little over-enthusiastic. So we’ve given you the power to reject a suggestion that doesn’t make sense.

We’ve made some improvements to how your plan chats look, so it’s clearer to see the plan summary and all the key actions needed to make your plans happen. In the continuous drive to see more of our friends we have added a quicker way to review suggestions and ideas when creating and editing plans. The what, where and when forms now let you compare and add the best suggestion straight to the plan. Get going faster, see your plan ideas exactly where you need them with these new forms when you go to start a new plan.

Fixed: For some users the comment input would hide behind the keyboard. Not always, just on certain iOS upgrades. This should no longer happen - once again see what you are typing and experience the freedom of long press to paste links you want to share.

If a picture’s worth a thousand words, we’ve just written you a novel. This latest release is all about making photos part of getting the group together, from saving pictures of things to plan later, to sharing pictures in plan chats, to pictures (and other info) appearing when you save or share links. Snap, snap, snap! Smarter than phone notes, cleverer than camera roll!

- Delete - removed the ability to accidentally delete your plan ideas feed
- Errant logo - some people were seeing our logo off-kilter, it’s now back in place
- 0 people - the app referred to no-one doing something (one for the philosophers among you), with an instance of rather poor grammar. We do apologise.

It’s Fixtember, when we all take stock after summer holidays and start laying the groundwork for our winter plans. We certainly have while fixing bugs. Last month PlanSnap went global, so this release is just sorting out a few things our new globetrotting PlanSnappers have noticed.
Here’s what’s fixed:
- Rebel plans - plan invite links will now let you in consistently instead of behaving like bouncers at Berghain
- Disappearing comment box on iPhone X - it should now make its presence known
- The white screen death star of apps - now overthrown
- Profile creation - the submit button to auto-fill from Facebook if you’re in a hurry is fixed
- Feeling non-committal? If you leave a plan you’ve been invited to via a link you can now rejoin it later, no problem!

Plans in plan list - We’ve made it even easier to tell which plans have updates by adjusting read and unread states
Bug fix - sometimes plan details weren’t showing up in your plan just after you made it
App version number - wondering which version you’ve got if you’d like to contact us about anything? That info is now easily found in your profile page
What’s new:
Chat feed adjustments - posted links are now clickable, auto-scroll to latest messages has been added, and PlanSnap won’t suggest that you start a conversation when one has been started already
Design changes - layout fixes and button improvements on the plan feed and onboarding screens

PlanSnap has officially launched! If you're here *updating* your app that means that you were well ahead of the curve. Nice work, and thank you - your feedback helped us build something that's truly unique. We can't WAIT for everyone to try it. So what's new?
Is it chat? Is it an app? Who knows, but it makes plans happen!
Your plan page, which previously had 'The Plan' and 'Comments About The Plan', is now one beautiful hybrid of the two. You can make suggestions in a chat, discuss the plan details as much as you want, and BANG... The Plan Summary button magically shows just what's been agreed and what's left to confirm.
We're running out of ways to explain it so tbh it'd be better if you just update your app and give it a whirl.

PlanSnappers, we know speedy planning is what you want, so we’ve focused on streamlining the app even further with this high-speed update. Thanks for all your feedback - especially Mark D, Tamsin R and Anna M.
Here’s what’s new:
- NEW LOGO! Doesn't it feel fast?
- Auto-refresh on the overview of your plans, so you always get the latest update to the plan
- Badge fixes - the update badge was a bit overenthusiastic. We’ve made sure it'll only show up when there’s a real plan update.
- Onboarding design - we’ve made a few changes to the onboarding, so when you send a plan your friends will get to your invite faster.
- Profile pictures - you can now upload a picture off your camera roll - no Facebook login needed.

- How much do you love copy-pasting URLs? Same. URLs in plan suggestions are now 100% clickable!
- When you click on a plan suggestion, the description of the plan will now carry on through to your plan.
- We’ve reduced the time it takes to make your plan by making sure that if you download the app from a plan suggestion or an invite link, it opens with the plan you want to make straight away.
- We’ve switched our storage location - meaning you’ll just have to log in to the app once, and only once.
- Have you seen a stray screen pop up while you’re signing up or gotten a notification on the second open of app instead of right after sign-up? We’ve ushered both of those elements back to where they should be.
- Being notified for your own plan suggestion was maybe too helpful. You’ll only get updates when other people suggest plan changes now.
- When changing your permissions, you may have encountered a prompt that didn’t quite work right - it’s fixed.

We've corralled some rogue elements you reported. They're much better-behaved now, thanks to your feedback.
These included:

- Plan suggestions that floated about in unusual places
- In-app notification when you suggested a plan change
