About Evatic Mobile
Mobility is a key element in service management. Receiving service tasks on the go, viewing service history on site and reporting parts and labour time while working are essential for increased efficiency in a service demanding business.
Evatic Mobile depends on Evatic Mobile Service (EMS). EMS must be installed on your web server while Evatic Mobile (EM) runs on your iPhone- or iPad. EM adds support for barcode scanning, push notifications and background location tracking (required by Evatic Map). Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life, but is only enabled if you are using Evatic Map.

EMS 5 is the largest single update of EMS since it was released in 2012 and brings with it better design and stability. iPad users can also set a larger font size in EMS 5 to make everything a bit larger. Please note that EMS must be upgraded/installed on your server before this app can run it.

Please note: We have reports about some technicians experiencing problems loading Evatic Mobile after the upgrade. If your device has been auto-updated and you are affected by this issue: Try to force close the app and start it again. If you have not upgraded yet: You should complete all your tasks, delete the app and install it again. That will resolve the issue.

Users running Evatic Mobile 3.8.51 should upgrade to this version as Evatic Mobile Service 3.9.0 requires it, and this version is compatible with Evatic Mobile Service 3.8.51.
Evatic Mobile 3.9.1 will now longer be able to track your location if you start other apps, lock your device etc. If reliable location tracking is import to you (you are using Evatic Map) then contact Evatic Support such that we can discuss other options.
