2207.2 2022-07-26
NEW
- On work orders with both the checklist and the asset validation flows, we are introducing a change to the way SC Provider prompts you to go through these flows. Upon check-in, you will be prompted to complete the asset validation. Upon check-out, the app will ask you to validate the asset (in case you skipped that step upon check-in), and then, finally, you are expected to answer the checklist questions.
- The app translation into Japanese has been updated in this version.
2206.2 2022-06-28

2205.1 2022-05-04
FIXED
- After an FTM internal technician checked into a work order where the location wasn't in the EST time zone, a work order time counter displayed the logged time incorrectly. A tricky bug was finally squished.
- Just to avoid confusion, we no longer display non-refrigeration assets when an FTM internal technician wants to add an asset on a PM work order with used refrigerant parts. Now, the app shows refrigeration assets only.
- On devices set to German and that were less than 5.4-inch, when an FTM internal technician tried to update the part on-hand quantity and select an adjust audit reason on the Adjust Audit screen, the checkmark wasn’t displayed, so their selection was not visible. We've taken care of that.
- The headers on the Checklist page that appeared during check-in and check-out processes were not translated according to the language settings of your device. We’ve updated the text. Found a language issue? Please report it. Thank you for helping us become better day by day!
- Those of you who use the app in Traditional Chinese will find an improved translation of certain information.

2204.2 2022-04-19
FIXED
- Previously, when you tried to save a new asset in the Scan Asset module without needed permissions, nothing happened and there was no error message or explanation. We've handled that matter, and now you'll be notified about the reason why creating assets isn’t possible.
2204.1 2022-04-05
FIXED
After you tried to add refrigerant and non-refrigerant parts at the same time on a refrigerant work order, the following error message appeared: Server error response: Failed to process inventory request. We've made some improvements, and the error does not pop up anymore.
Instead of the More button, FTM internal techs saw the Media button on the External tab. The issue is fixed.
We are working on improving the German translation for you to enjoy using ServiceChannel Provider in your native tongue.
When FTM internal techs searched for a part transfer by QR code and opened the part’s details screen, the app crashed. Crashes are no fun, so the issue has been fixed.
2203.2 2022-03-20
FIXED
- No more than 50 check-in/out activities were allowed per service request for external providers. Once you met this limit, the app threw an error message preventing you from clocking in. We’ve removed that limit. Check in as many times as you need to get the job done.
- The Root Cause you selected on a work order with the trade Refrigeration didn't display in Service Automation. This was rather unpleasant and is now fixed.

2202.1 2022-02-05
FIXED
On devices set to German, the work order statuses were not translated. We’ve updated the text to make it clear for German speakers.
If the scanned asset didn't match the location, an FTM user could either update the location right away or do it later by tapping Not now. When they tapped Not now, they were redirected to the wrong screen — Validate Asset instead of Search Result or WO details (depending on which screen they came from). Now, FTM users get to the right screen as intended.
2201.1.1 2022-01-12
No new features and bug fixes. We are getting the app ready for the upcoming features.
2110.1 2021-10-12

2109.2 2021-09-27
FIXED
- Once you answer all checklist questions upon checking out of a work order, tap the “Next” button to proceed. We’ve added this button to improve navigation and avoid extra clicks upon check-out.
2101.1 2021-01-15
No new features and major fixes for this version. Keep an eye on our further updates!
2012.1.1 2020-12-22
FIXED
- The app didn’t start on devices running iOS 12. Sorry that this issue put your work to a halt.
2012.1 2020-12-12
NEW
- To use our new version of SC Provider, your device should be running iOS 11 or higher. The app is no longer working on devices with iOS versions lower than 11.

FIXED
- Latest WO notes about status changes and other updates didn’t appear under "Notes" on the WO details screen. Not always — only when a WO had a legion of notes posted.
- Added attachments appeared twice on the "Notes" tab of the WO details screen. Duplicate photos are no longer an eyesore.
2011.2 2020-11-30
FIXED
- A small change for those FTM techs who are already using our redesigned Inventory module. As you tap “Inventory” on the home screen, you land on the “Choose Location” screen. We’ve renamed the old “Choose Source Location” screen to avoid confusion.
- On iPads, there were a couple of issues with the "More" button on work orders. Those who already have the button enabled noticed, for example, that tapping the button crashed the app instead of opening available action options, such as reassigning a WO or adding an attachment.
2011.1 2020-11-13
NEW
- Since the “Visits” tab on the WO details screen is about checklists, we’ve changed the tab name to “Checklists”. Head over there to see the checklist questions and answers.

FIXED
- On devices running iOS 14, tapping “See More” to view the whole problem description in the WO list view showed you nothing but a blank space.
- The date picker that got broken on iOS 14 devices is now back in the game! Wherever you need to select a date, you can do so like in the good old days.
2010.3 2020-10-30
FIXED
- When trying to link work orders, FTM internal techs faced multiple issues in a row. Firstly, they were offered to select a weather type instead of being redirected to the list of WOs to be linked. Secondly, when techs closed the weather type overlay, they finally landed on the “Link Work Orders” screen, but it showed no WOs. Each and every issue has been solved.
- In case the refrigerant tracking process was enabled for you but wasn’t activated for the client whose service request you were working on, you had no chance to check out of such a work order. That thing that didn’t let you clock out has been fixed.
2010.1 2020-10-05
No new features and bugs to share with you this time. There are some new features we are busy working on. Stay tuned!
2009.2 2020-09-19
FIXED
- The location address appeared truncated on the WOs list. And when you tried to check it on the WO details screen, it was only the location ID and name you saw atop. Next time, we show the full location address — both in the WO list and details view.
2009.1 2020-09-04
NEW
- FTM internal techs no longer have to complete a checklist when they log the “Travel” and “Admin” activity time. Only the “Repair” activity entails answering checklist questions now.
- When FTM internal techs need to link existing work orders, the app now shows the requests created over the past year among the WOs that can be linked. Previously, three months was the largest date range the app supported.
2008.1 2020-08-07
FIXED
- It is now way easier to check when notes were added to a work order. Instead of displaying how many days or months ago a WO note was posted, we tell you the exact date and time.
- Upon creating a work order and selecting an asset to associate the WO with, FTM internal techs may have witnessed that some of the asset details got shuffled, which caused confusion. The app no longer mixes up asset details.
2007.2 2020-07-24
This version doesn’t contain any changes that you can see, feel, or share with your colleagues. Still, we are working in earnest to get the app ready for some new features. Stay in touch!
2007.1 2020-07-10
FIXED
- No matter how many notes a work order has — we display them all on the “Notes” tab of the WO details screen. We showed only the first 50 notes before, keeping others behind the closed doors.
2006.2 2020-06-26
FIXED
- Should you try to check into a work order before its call date or after its scheduled date, we show you a message explaining in layman’s terms why you cannot clock in. The message was too techy before, and you couldn’t dope out what was wrong.
- Your password should contain at least six characters. In case this number slips your mind and you enter fewer characters when changing the password in your profile, the app shows you a reminder instead of throwing an error message.
2006.1.1 2020-06-17
FIXED:
- There was an issue with updating profile photos that was observed on our side only. This new app version ensures that this problem is gone.
2006.1 2020-06-12
FIXED:
- When FTM internal technicians edited a work order status, the screen for updating the parts usage appeared, which confused techs since the WO had no connection with a refrigerated asset. The parts screen appears only for refrigerant WOs now.
2004.3 2020-05-01
NEW
- Good news for FTM internal providers! They can now move work orders to any of the available “Open” statuses.
2004.2 2020-04-20
FIXED
- We’ve polished the tab names on the WOs list. No dramatic changes though — just some tweaks to their letter case.
- When you add refrigerant parts to a work order, you can pick only those parts where the part group matches the current refrigerant type of the asset. Other parts don't show up anymore and cannot be selected
2004.1 2020-04-03
FIXED
- On the login screen, you couldn’t delete the entered user ID in one go because the icon designed for this purpose was gone.
- Some checklist questions appeared cut off, depriving you of the chance to get them right. After some tweaks on our side, you see all questions in full.
- Trying to submit a support ticket with photos picked from your gallery crashed the app. You don’t get kicked out anymore. Feel free to create a ticket.
- The pop-up window where FTM technicians provided a reason for declining a work order was so translucent that techs could hardly see what they were typing. We’ve adjusted the window with techs’ comfort in mind.
- When you were selecting a source location to add parts to a refrigerant work order, the same location showed up several times on the locations list. No, you didn’t see double — it was the list that displayed duplicates.
2003.2.1 2020-03-31
Bug fixes and performance improvements.
2003.2 2020-03-20
NEW
- When you try to update a refrigerated asset for a WO and the asset has parts added, you now get a message alerting you that all parts should be removed before changing the asset.

FIXED
- There was an issue with searching for work orders by service ID. We’ve got the app up and running!
2003.1.2 2020-03-16
Some under-the-hood changes are waiting for you in this version. Although you won’t see them, know they are designed to make the app work better.
2003.1.1 2020-03-06
FIXED
- Crash during work order check out.
2003.1 2020-03-06
NEW
- Now, when a not-to-exceed (NTE) amount gets updated, the WO note informing about this change doesn’t reveal the amount. Note that FTM techs are not affected and can view this info as before.

FIXED
- We’ve updated the error message that appears when you log in via single sign-on (SSO) and enter invalid credentials. The message is not as techy as it used to be.
2002.1.1 2020-02-25
FIXED
- Searching for work orders resulted in a crash for some of you. After a few tweaks on our side, the app got back to normal.
2002.1 2020-02-20
FIXED
- The store manager’s name no longer appears for work orders in the list view.
2001.1 2020-01-31
FIXED
- A sudden crash didn’t let some of you answer checklist questions when clocking out. This malicious issue has come to an end.
- Failed to attach photos and videos to a work order? Some internal hitches and evil forces contributed to the issue. We’ve conquered them all!
- FTM technicians who didn’t have permission to reassign work orders to external providers nevertheless had this option available. A couple of tweaks got the app back on track.
1912.1 2019-12-12
NEW
- The option to reassign a WO to an external provider no longer nests on the “Select Reassign Type” screen for those who don’t have the required feature enabled.

FIXED
- Some internal FTM technicians got logged out of the app when they picked a custom activity in the “Time Tracking” section. If this mishap affected you, accept our apologies.
- In the WO list view, we displayed the asset brand instead of the asset tag ID for internal FTM techs.
1910.1 2019-10-22
NEW
- We strive to make our app available in different languages because we know how handy it is to use the app in your mother tongue. Currently, we keep working on translating our app into Polish. Stay tuned!

FIXED
- Apologies to those who are on the dark side of the app. For devices running iOS 13, we had to return our light mode since the dark one made the app interface glitchy.
1909.2 2019-09-21
NEW
- You can mute WO notifications without putting your device on silent. In the app settings, select the desired type of WO alerts, and hit the “Silent” toggle. Done!

FIXED
- The app is ready for long-awaited iOS 13! We’ve adjusted SC Provider so that it fits the devices running the latest operating system.
- On iOS 10 devices, you got a crash each time you opened a map. This happens no more.
- When you edited a WO pass on the “Visits” tab of the WO details, your changes were stored although you closed the pass without saving it. Now we save the updates only if you tap “Done”.
- Should you be an internal tech, we no longer pester you with push notifications asking to check out — in case you set your activity to travel and move out of the location radius.
- We kept on sending push notifications asking you to check into a work order even when it had already been completed. You don’t receive these misleading alerts for completed WOs anymore.
1909.1.1 2019-09-10
Fixed
When you were searching for a location to create a work order, you got kicked out of the app all of a sudden. This version ensures that the problem is gone.
1909.1 2019-09-08
NEW
- When you try to check in while being out of the location range, we show you a map with your current position and the WO location. Thus, you know where to go!

FIXED
- Updating the phone number in your profile was a tricky business. In some cases, the “Save” button was inactive. In other cases, the button worked alright, but your changes were not saved.
- On iOS 11 devices, external providers saw the duplicate “Check In” and “Media” icons for their WOs. No more tricks like that!
- External providers couldn’t find WOs with the call date older than 3 months although such WOs did exist.
1908.2.1 2019-09-03
Bug fix for the time management feature
1908.2 2019-08-23
NEW
- When you create a linked WO, you are no longer distracted by the tab bar and its items — “Home”, “Work Orders”, and “Time Tracking”. We’ve removed the bar from the bottom of the screen.

FIXED
- Experienced random crashes of the app? We did our best to fix them.
- For internal techs, we’ve removed the option to filter external WOs based on whether they are accepted or not.
- On the WO details screen, we now display all parts added to the work order — even when some of them are identical. Previously, we hid duplicates from the “Parts Used” field.
- When you create a WO, whether selecting an asset is mandatory or optional now truly depends on your client’s settings.
1908.1 2019-08-14
NEW
- No more invisible WO activities! From now on, we show the full activities list even when a WO has more than 50 of them.

FIXED
- The work orders list didn't display work activities for completed service requests. It now does, no doubts.
1907.2 2019-07-28
NEW
- Improvements for empty schedule date WOs. Now we show the "Schedule date: not set" and allow you to check in to those WOs.

FIXED
- After you logged in, the app sometimes hung. You had no chance to stop the loading spinner and get down to work. Now the app suggests you either log out or retry to log in.
- Internal technicians received the confusing “Something went wrong” message when performing the same actions within a very short time. Now the app kindly asks you to wait a bit before trying again.
- Trying to change your profile photo on an iPad triggered a crash. We’ve remedied the problem.
- After you reassigned a work order, the count of assigned to you WOs didn’t update. Now it happens on the fly.
- Sometimes, after creating a WO, you could view neither this WO nor any other WO for that location. The location just disappeared from the list forcing you to re-open the app. The issue is fixed.
- You couldn't open PDF attachments with an ampersand & or a number sign # in their names. With this release, special characters are not an issue anymore.
1907.1.1 2019-07-12
A crash fix for ipads with filters
1906.2 2019-06-21
FIXED
- On the WO details screen, linked service requests were not displayed even though they existed.
- Those who log into the app with a PIN don’t face an app crash when they update the WOs list in the offline mode.
- Upon check-out, the app didn’t ask you whether you used refrigerants — although you had the refrigerant tracking enabled. The app doesn’t forget to do so anymore.
- Plus other improvements focused on quality
- Should you enter a wrong date when completing a refrigerant leak record, an error message pops up. We’ve made it more meaningful so that you know what stops you from completing the job.
1906.1.1 2019-06-05
Important Bug fix for logging travel time
1906.1 2019-06-04
NEW
- We’ve upgraded the WOs list design to accommodate more info on each WO. Hope you’ll like it!
- Now you don’t have to scroll all the way down the WOs list to find fresh WOs. Tap "Sort" > "Call Date - Newest First" to display new WOs atop the list.

FIXED
- Off with errors that appeared when you opened the WOs list or checked into a WO.
- Previously, we sometimes ended your day without your knowledge, and that was an issue for 24-hour working techs. Now it’s only you who can full-stop your work by tapping “End My Day”.
- Do you log in using a PIN? If so, note that once your client confirms a WO as completed, you cannot access or modify it anymore.
- You couldn’t update a refrigerant leak record — an error message kept on popping up.
1905.1.1 2019-05-08
A bug fix for priority changes.
1905.1 2019-05-06
Bug fixes:
You couldn’t view photos attached to work orders. We’ve solved this issue, and now the *Notes* tab displays attached files correctly.
Plus other minor improvements.
1904.2 2019-04-26
NEW
- After this release, ServiceChannel no longer provides support for devices running iOS 9.
- When you select an inventory location where you took refrigerant parts for a WO, you see either all inventory locations or those in your area only. This list of locations depends on the admin settings configured in Service Automation.
