About Stash Star Pen
Stash Star Pen helps you organize and manage your pen collection.
Flexible!
Save as much or as little information as you choose. Save multiple photos for each pen. Record the pen brand and model, as well as its length, color, and refill type. Enter details about the pen, such as the barrel and tip material and the tip style and size. Additionally, you can record where and when you purchased the pen, the price you paid, and where you’re currently storing it. If you want to enter more information, there is a special notes field specifically for that purpose. Or add your own custom attributes.

You can view all your pens on a single scrollable page. For ease in organization, you can group your pens by many of the attributes you enter, such as brand, color, barrel material, tip material, storage location, and more. You can also filter and search your pen collection, to help you quickly find the exact pen you’re looking for.

Stash Star Pen is preconfigured with lists of the most common pen materials, refill types, tip sizes, colors, and more. But you can customize the lists to add or remove items to tailor them specifically for your personal pen collection.

We’ve added a new “filter” screen that gives you more powerful options for searching your pens. We’ve removed the three color limit for pens and provide more hues to choose from when creating your own colors. And you can now select a currency when entering a pen’s price.

This version gives you the option to customize the information you record about your pens. Say you want to track where your pens were made; it’s easy to add a new “Country” attribute to record that. Or maybe you don’t want to track your pens’ lengths? Go ahead and remove the “Length” attribute. Plus you can rearrange the attributes to get whatever layout you like best. It’s all easy to do with the new attribute editor in Stash Star Pen 3.0.

Stash Star Pen 2.0 has a bunch of great new features for you.
Want an easy way to share your pen collection with your friends? We’ve added a new “Export pens” option just for you. Select the pens you wish to send by using the search field—or clear the field to send all your pens. Then specify which pen attributes (Brand, Pen type, etc.) you want to include. Stash Star Pen will create a file with your pens that you can save, email, print, or share via one of the many other sharing options.
Pens have a new “Tags” attribute that you can use for, well, anything! You can create and assign tags to your pens to help you find pens in your collection. We’ve included some tags as examples but tags are completely customizable for your particular needs.
Speaking of customizable, all of the lists in Stash Star Pen (such as “Pen type“) can now be rearranged. Rather than leaving the lists in alphabetical order, you can rearrange the items in the lists to whatever order you like. Plus, when you display your pens in groups, the order of the groups matches the order you specify in the list.
This release has additional improvements to the user interface and includes support for the iPhone X.
