About Yandex Metro
Plan your metro trip in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Uzbekistan and know how long your journey will take, including any line transfers. The app displays the optimal route, shows which metro car will be most convenient, shows station exits on the map and forewarns of any closures.

The app’s all set for iOS 13! In addition, dark mode is now here for those of you who prefer a more subdued screen. If you’re traveling late at night, make sure you can still change between lines: look into the station card to see when a crossing opens and closes.

• When you tap a station, the From and To buttons are displayed in the card without blocking part of the screen like they used to. If the "Select stations by tapping" option is enabled, you can open the card by tapping and holding the scheme.
• You can clear the history of searches and routes in Settings.
• New schemes are regularly added to the app. If you don't find the city you need, submit a request in the City section in Settings. Just enter the name of the city and tap "Leave a request".

Good news for those of you who live in St. Petersburg: you can now top up your Podorozhnik travel card in the app.
New in routes:
• The “From” and “To” fields have been added to route cards: you can easily change a station or switch the stations around.
• Route details show you what time your train arrives at transit stations.
• More alternative routes are now available. If you think a route option is missing, let us know by tapping “Report error” in route details.
• Quick actions have been added to the home screen. Tap the app icon to build a route to a specific station or to add funds to your travel card.

• In addition to metro stations, the map now shows airports, railway and Aeroexpress stations. It also shows different types of line interchanges: for example, above-ground transfers are marked with a dotted line.
• We perfected the routing algorithm: the app recommends the fastest options and takes closures into account.
• There’s now an information card about every station that shows working hours, exits and warnings about renovations.
• Renovation and closure information is shown in search results as well as in route details.
