About JW Language

JW Language is an official app produced by Jehovah's Witnesses to help language learners improve their communication skills in the ministry and at congregation meetings. It includes phrases, pictures, and activities for language learning.
Language Selection
After installing the app, select your primary language and the language you are learning. Choose from the following languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese Cantonese (Traditional), Chinese Mandarin (Simplified), Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Kurdish Kurmanji, Low German, Malay, Myanmar, Nahuatl (Central), Persian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.

• Collections (formerly ‘Favorites’): Organize favorite items into multiple collections. Rearrange the order of items in each collection. Review each collection as flashcards or an audio lesson.
• Enhanced flashcards: Rate the difficulty of each flashcard as you review it. Filter flashcards based on their difficulty levels. Choose whether to play audio whenever a flashcard is viewed.
• Audio Lessons: Listen to all the items in a collection in sequence. Customize the order in which source and target language audio is played in each lesson.
• Audio Speed Control: Slow down audio clips to a fraction of their original speed.
• Hide/Unhide Romanization (for languages with non-Latin scripts): Hide or reveal romanized text with a single control.
