About MiWaves

Users of the MiWaves app will be prompted to complete twice daily surveys that ask about health behaviors like sleep, exercise, and substance use, as well as things like stress and mood. Novel app features are included within the MiWaves app, such as on-demand graphs of personal data, messages, and in-app cards to share monetary rewards for completing twice daily surveys. Messages include content focused on affect management, alternative activities, and future/goal-oriented thought exercises. Messages can include links to additional information or prompt for explicit responses from the user to encourage reflection. Lastly, users will have access to a content library of each message they were sent where they can revisit content.
