About Urbi — Dubai Map
Urbi provides:
- Verified information on over 200k organizations (including public institutions such as hospitals, schools, police stations, and etc.);
- Addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, websites, working hours and payment methods;
- Detailed 3D maps with such attributions as – buildings’ amount of floors, driveways, kiosks and fences;
- Car routing and searching for public transportation routes with transfers and pedestrian crossings;
- Navigator with CarPlay support. Get directions to your favourite places, any address or business with the actual traffic situation in mind.
Urbi allows you to:
- Find the location of the company you are looking for, find out its phone number and make a call;
- Find the desired location on the map of the city: a building (using its address), a public transport station or just a well-known object;
- Tap on any building on the map and find out its address, amount of floors and organizations that reside there;
- Find all companies in a specific business area, view them on the map, and filter out the ones that are open at a convenient time or right now;
- Find how to get to your destination by car or by public transport;
- Identify your location and find out what is close to you.
Once Urbi is installed, select the city you need to download the data. The application does not require an Internet connection to operate with the directories and maps. Afterwards, you can receive the most up-to-date information every month with just one tap using the built-in automatic update system.
Business listings are verified by Urbi’s own call-centre and ‘field teams’, who update the databases on a monthly basis. 2GIS maps are created by professional cartographers based on up-to-date satellite images and with regular on-site verification.

- Now we recognize gravel roads on pedestrian and bicycle routes. We'll let you know in advance where exactly your path gets uncomfortable and we'll suggest a bypass.
- Want your daily 10 000 steps? We'll help you plan your walks: now Urbi not only shows the travel time and burned calories, but also calculates how many steps it'll take.

It's August, and it's time for some fresh updates.
Now you can rate the companies that you've been to without writing a review. You can find the list of such companies in your profile → My Places tab.
You can now add photos of menus and price-lists to company cards — we made a special Menu tab specifically for that.

Summer is in full swing, and our heat-proof developers keep on delivering new features straight to your devices.
In this update, we introduce a new layer with tourist objects. It highlights the most notable city sights on the map. Tap on them, learn something new, build walking routes. By the way, we have refreshed the design of the pedestrian navigator. Now we show elevation changes along the route, and the new location icon will show the direction you’re facing.

Summer is here, and so are these fresh and juicy updates.
We made a navigator for bicycles and scooters for everyone who chooses eco-friendly transportation. There are several routes to choose from, a height indicator, and voice instructions. Also, we upgraded the main screen of the app and added smart destination suggestions to get directions in one tap.

The pedestrian navigator upgraded as well. Now you can exclude stairs from your route, learn the type of road surface, and get directions for exiting the metro car.

Hello, it’s the Urbi team! We won’t stop the development for a minute to make sure you get the best city service. This time we’ve delivered two crucial features:
- Now you can use the app without downloading the city database to your device. All Urbi features are available through the internet. You can still download the city any time, just in case.
- The navigator got a new design and also a search for locations and companies to build routes to. The upgraded navigator is more than ready to join on your rides.

Hello! How did your year start? We're sure you've been places. Now is the time to tell all about it in 2GIS to your friends and fellow users because it got easier to share photos and reviews of places. We display them the new way in the user profile and under the My Urbi tab.
A long-awaited update for cities with metro: now we display several nearest metro stations in cards of companies and places. Choose whichever – our pedestrian navigator is ready to walk you there.
Also, we've supported VoiceOver in the route search. Please mention that to your friends or family members who might need it.

Ho-ho-ho! Here's the year's final release of Urbi, and it's filled with holiday cheer.
No serious business this time. We sprinkled the map with some winter magic — you'll get to see it closer to the holidays. Look out for the magic snowflake on the main screen of the app.

Getting ready for the iOS 15. Alongside that, we added navigation in the company cards with price lists. Now it's easier to search for a particular product or service: browse categories at the top of the list instead of scrolling the whole catalogue.
