About Sous Chef Recipes
Your personal recipe assistant. Import recipes from your favorite cooking websites and customize them.
This app is for the home cook that uses the internet as their primary recipe source. Sous Chef Recipes allows you to easily copy recipes from any online source, from popular websites to personal blogs. You'll be able to tweak recipes to your liking so you remember your personal touches the next time you make your favorite dish.
Now you can even import recipes with your camera! Capture your favorite recipes from your cookbooks so you always have them with you wherever you go.
If you have an Amazon Alexa device you can also interact with your recipes using your voice. When your hands are messy and you don't want to touch your phone you can just ask to get ingredient amounts or recipe instructions. Look for the Sous Chef Recipe skill in the Amazon Alexa app.
Add your first ten recipes for free then subscribe ($0.99 USD/year) to add unlimited recipes.
Note that we do not guarantee access to any particular website since some recipe websites require membership and/or subscriptions. To load recipes from certain sites you will need to procure access independently of this app.
Sous Chef Recipes Unlimited subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription year. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the subscription year, cost of the renewal will be identified. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Fixed a bug around editing notes, thanks to Joseph for pointing this out! Also less exciting is a revamp of the subscription mechanism. Although people have been asking about how they can support us so this might make some people happy, we appreciate it!

Our biggest release since we launched! Even though the code underneath is all new you won't be lost because the general structure of the app is very similar to previous versions. That being said this release also contains many quality of life changes that we've accumulated from user suggestions. There are also bonus features in there too like support for "Dark" mode and improved iPad support. Most importantly the paste bug in iOS 14 has been resolved! With so many changes there will likely be bugs, if you stumble across one please contact help@souschef.recipes and let us know, thanks!

Two new user requested features coming at you.
First we've added the ability to relate recipes together. This is useful if you have two recipes that always go together or if a recipe has multiple components with overlapping ingredients. Just scroll past steps to related recipes and click the + icon.
Also for those of you that like to plan ahead we've added a recipe calendar where you can schedule your meals for next month. Just click on the calendar icon at the top of your recipe list.

By request we've added a way for you to categorize your recipes. When looking at a recipe click the menu icon, then click the Categories button. Once you've tagged your recipes you'll be able to filter your list on the recipes tab. If there are any categories you'd like to see added just send them to help@souschef.recipes

This release includes a recipe import feature which allows you to import multiple recipes at once. This is useful if you want to transfer recipes from another souce. You can even use this feature to transfer all recipes from Sous Chef Recipes account to another by using the existing export feature. Just sign in on the accounts tab, click on the tools icon, select the “Import Multiple Recipes” option and follow the formatting instructions. Contact help@souchef.recipes if you have questions.

Now, share your recipes with other Sous Chef Recipes users! Simply scroll down to the bottom of your recipe and scan the QR code with another users device.

Now export all your recipes! We don't want to tie you down to our service, your recipes are yours. To export, login with your email address and go to tools on the account tab. From there you can send all your recipes in plain text or json format.
