L'Associazione Cuochi Fiorentini è erede di un'antichissima tradizione, quella dei "liberi professionisti della cucina", che tutt'oggi riunisce sul territorio fiorentino. L'obiettivo dell'Associazione è dare vita ad uno spirito unitario di categoria, difendendo e valorizzando la cultura culinaria ed enogastronomica italiana d'eccellenza, contribuendo anche alla formazione dei giovani che si affacciano al mondo della cucina. L'Associazione aderisce e partecipa attivamente all'Unione Regionale Cuochi Toscana, alla Federazione Italiana Cuochi e alla World Association of Chefs Societies.
