بدأ الشيخ الزين رحلــته مع القرآن الكريم بعد أن درس أربـع سنـوات بالمدرسة الابتدائية وكان آنذاك عمره عشــر سنوات. و تم اعتماد تلاوته لبثها عبر إذاعة القرآن الكريم بالسودان. وقد حصل على إجازة من شيخ قراء الأزهر الشريف في سبتمبر 2009
