Apollo Weather is a powerful tool for athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. Designed to be your go-to weather app for outdoor activities, and perfect for planning weekly bike rides or long runs.

Apollo will help you answer three questions:

1. What are the best days to train during the week? 
2. What are the best hours to train?
3. How should I prepare myself?

IDEAL CONDITIONS AND RATINGS

The user experience prioritizes training decisions and planning. All hourly forecasts have PERFECT, ACCEPTABLE or BAD ratings depending on your ideal conditions and active times. Ratings are based on your own preferences instead of a mysterious formula.

WEATHER GROUPS AND ROUTE ANALYSIS

Weather Groups helps athletes track hourly forecasts across multiple locations. While it is valuable for runners and hikers, it excels for cycling. Cyclists can monitor weather conditions before embarking on a ride and even add a route to visualize the journey, simplifying planning and preparation.

Here are some key benefits of using Weather Groups for your next ride:

1. Selecting the appropriate gear before each ride.
2. Choosing the optimal days and times to hit the road.
3. Ensuring proper hydration and fueling strategies.
4. Avoiding challenging headwinds, resulting in a more comfortable return home.

Weather Groups will help you optimize your bike rides and make cycling more enjoyable.

Available data sources for routes include:

1. Existing workouts in the Health app
2. GPX or FIT files

FEATURES

Apollo can be used as a general-purpose weather app. Still, it shines when planning outdoor activities like running, cycling, hiking, etc.

Apollo is self-funded and maintained by a solo developer and cyclist.

The initial releases include features to match my most important need. Weekly ride planning! I live in Florida, and the weather here is unpredictable. Apollo helps me stay on top of my goal of 100 miles per week. I’ve also implemented features based on feedback from close friends.

PRIVACY

Your privacy is important! Apollo Weather may ask your permission to read workout data from the Health app. Workout data is used to let you add an optional route in Weather Groups. Apollo keeps all your data secure and on your device. Your data is never sold or shared with any other apps, services or networks.

Apollo uses auto-renewing subscriptions.

Apollo PREMIUM includes a 10-day forecast, hourly ratings, weather groups with multiple locations, home screen widgets, update ideal conditions and active times.

Apollo ULTRA includes all the features of PREMIUM, plus 20 locations and auto-generate locations in Weather Groups.

Apollo’s PREMIUM and ULTRA features are only available with a subscription. A subscription payment will be charged to your App Store account if you purchase an Apollo Weather Subscription. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Subscription prices may vary from country to country.
