About Ask Ahmadiyyat

Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam is the most dynamic and moderate movement in Islam. Its inception was foretold by the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The founder of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (peace be on him), was born in 1835 A.D in Qadian, Punjab, India. He was a very pious person from childhood, and spent his early days in learning and practicing Islam. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (peace be on him) received Heavenly revelation and under divine orders claimed to be the Promised Messiah. The advent of the Promised Messiah was foretold by all major religions including Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, and Islam.

A small number of people accepted his claims in the beginning; however, a huge majority of religious and spiritual leaders opposed him with their full force. However, with God’s help Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and his followers withstood all forms of opposition.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad produced extremely fascinating religious and spiritual material. He wrote more than eighty books and created an extremely dynamic community of followers worldwide. He passed away in 1908. Since his death his successors (known as Caliphs or Khulafa-e-Ahmadiyyat) have continued in his footsteps in spreading the message of Ahmadiyyat (or the true Islam) to the corners of the world. Print media, electronic media, Internet, and social media have played a significant role in this endeavour.

The Ask Ahmadiyyat app provides access into the original sources documenting the teachings of Ahmadiyyat. The material is organized in question/answer format in different categories. Each of these categories is related to the fundamental teachings of Ahmadiyyat – the true Islam.

The main categories described herein include:

• Finality of the Prophethood (Khatam-e-Nabuwwat)

• Refutations of criticism against the writings of the Promised Messiah (as), his Caliphs and family
• Refutations of criticism and allegations against the management and financial system of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam

In addition to the detailed content on the above-mentioned categories, this app also provides access to all the books of the Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) for the user to read from the source. It also provides links to related websites and also has a very useful audio/video section on matters relating to the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam.
