About Autofy - Your car manager
Autofy is the app that lets you manage everything related to your car in a quick and easy way.
You can enter information such as your registration number, make, model, power and so on, but with Autofy, you can do so much more. You now have the option to even set a picture for your car!
You can also enter information about your:
• insurance
• inspection
• road tax
• repairs
• parsed distances
• fuel refillings at the gas station
Autofy is smart, so once it detects something that is due soon (e.g.: your insurance expiring), the app will notify you ahead of time to remind you of what you car needs. Over time, as you enter your information, the app will remember everything (and you can even add old records so that you have everything saved in one place). This way, the app is able to compute things such as distance parsed over time, the amount of money spent on fuel or the fuel consumption of your car in either L/100KM or MPG (yes, both systems of measurement are supported!).
You can also export a PDF of all the data with Autofy. This way, you can have a backup of your information, print it out to have a hard copy or even provide it to a potential buyer; buyers appreciate when they have a full history of a car they are looking to buy!
More features include a 0-100km/h / 0-60mph timer, a 0- 50km/h / 0-30mph timer and a Driving companion which records trip data, such as distance, trip time, average and maximum speeds and from now on, lets you view your trips on a Map!
Inside of the app, users have direct access to carVertical where they can perform checks for vehicles from all over the world! Our customers living or travelling in Romania can check the validity of their insurance and local vignette from the app, as well as pay the parking across the country (where TPARK is supported) and the Fetesti-Cernavoda bridge toll by SMS. Make sure that you select your country in Settings to be able to see these options, as they appear based on regional availability.
We strongly believe you'll love Autofy but we know we are not perfect, so if you have any suggestions or there's something wrong that you see in the app, we'd love to hear from you at contact@codingfy.com.

In this update:
• the app was already adapting to Dark and Light themes automatically and while the app will continue to do so, we have now added the option to manually select your theme for the app regardless of your system theme; once you manually select a theme, the app will remember your choice; if you change your system theme while the app is running, you might need to restart the app to have the status bar display correctly;
• the fuel, capacity and year options for your cars are now dropdowns, making it easier to enter your information (you will need to reselect this information, we are sorry for this);
• some car models were changed because they were wrong; if one of your cars is affected by this, you'll need to reselect your model.

• important improvements to the dashboard so that it will now update seamlessly after you perform edits or add data to your cars;
• improvements to the Notifications tab; as a result of reworking the way the dashboard works after updating the data, we had to also perform improvements to the Notifications tab; this should also fix some issues in which you would see repeating or split notifications, even though they were always scheduled correctly.

In this update, we have added selectors for the car's make and model, making it easier and faster to input these details (please note that you might have to reselect your make and model in some cases).
We have fixed a bug that prevented the direct access links to carVertical from working when no country was selected.
Push notifications are now enabled through the use of a new library.
• these notifications will be sent, for example, when we release new versions;
• the prompt for permission to receive push notifications will be presented to you at a later date, before the server is ready to send the first notification to you; if you already agreed to see notifications for our reminders, you will not see a new prompt;
• this same library also allowed us to swap our analytics library introduced in version 1.0.1, giving us more powerful insights into what is most useful to our users and will help us better understand where our app fails when it crashes.

The app will now record data about the fire extinguisher and the medical kit (useful for countries in which they are required by law); as usual, once you save the expiration dates for these, the app will automatically schedule notifications to remind you before they expire.

• The driving companion now has an optional speed warning setting, which will sound when you go over a speed you pre-set (make sure the device is not on mute).
• The carVertical section now gives you the option to select a VIN from your existing cars, or input a new VIN, and then direct you to carVertical with this VIN prefilled.
• The companion will now make clear that stopping it will stop the recording and save the data, and that for the recording to be made correctly, the screen must be kept on.
• Various other small improvements.
We have made multiple UI improvements (added badges, hints and more) on the page in which you edit your car's information, which should make things more clear and easier to understand.
On the settings page, there is now the option to toggle NPA (Non-personalized ads) on and off, giving you full control over your privacy.

For our customers in or travelling around Romania, they now have two services they can use in the country. Parking in several cities and the Fetesti-Cernavoda bridge toll can both be paid by SMS (the app will autofill the message that needs to be sent based on your registration and your preferences). For this, go to the Settings page and select Romania as your country then head over to the Extra services page.

We have added two In-App Purchases; one allows access to up to 5 cars, and the other gives access to an unlimited number of cars. These In-App Purchases also remove the ads.
A library for analytics has also been added, which allows us to understand how you use the app and how can we make it better (don't worry, your data is private and stays on the device). We have also added multiple currencies so that everyone can select their own currency. Small other improvements.
