About Bear Club: Language Community

Bear Club is an app that connects language learners of different target languages. Each language will have its own community and users can join multiple communities at the same time. The app is based on three main functions:

1) A community Q&A platform: Here learners can help each other correct pronunciation, check grammar mistakes, explain a new word or give out examples. We have included prompts to encourage and inspire new questions as well as tools such as audio recording and auto-highlight correction to improve communication quality.

2) Drop-in audio room: Discover our list of chat rooms filled with amazing people and unexpected conversations. You can make friends from across the globe and start practice speaking and listening in foreign languages right away. Simply check out an available room or create your own and enjoy all the benefits of being a room host.

3) Multi-lingual dictionary: convenient for users to look up and bookmark new words while using the app. The dictionary is open for every user to contribute and is an asset for any future community dictionary project.

Bear Club is launched in 2021 by two friends in Germany to create a safe and supportive environment for language learners to exchange knowledge. Currently, we support English, Russian, German and Chinese.
