Curated page has been optimized again ..we're continuously working and tinkering at our algorithm to improve your feed so get used to this bullet point. We won't stop until we've reached perfection *chef's kiss*

We've also optimized our Chat and Private Cast features.. should be fast like a NASCAR now

Other than that, we continued with our extermination of bugs.. no bug is safe around our DEV team.

Hey, what's up? It's me again; the guy who writes the Cast App Store updates. How was your week? Did you survive the great Facebook outage of 2021? I know we did. Not trying to throw any shade, but Cast is still at 100% uptime since our inception. You always have access to your favourite Casts!

Speaking of which, check out the Curated page.. we've updated our algorithm to continuously feed you more and more Casts catered to your interests.

We've also added some features to help you find more friends to follow (check out your and your friends 'Clout' tabs).

In terms of those pesky bugs, we've sprayed some RAID in the notifications and chat sections.

Hey, what’s up? It’s me: the guy who writes the Cast App Store updates. I’m here to welcome you to Cast 2.0! It’s the Cast you know and love but way cooler, more colourful and community focused (a lot like the friend who takes a gap year after highschool). We listened to what y'all wanted and worked hard to get these features to you. Over the past month, we worked tirelessly, tooth and nail, all hours of the day, burning the midnight oil, to deliver you this end product for your enjoyment. We’ve added a bunch of updates to this version so how about I make you a deal? If you read through all of this, we’ll send you some free Cast merch. We got shirts, bucket hats and viper glasses. It will be the easiest, and coolest, merch you’ve ever earned. Deal? Ok, let’s go!

- We revamped the look of the Curated feed. Everything is on one full screen, with modals to view different information (demographics, comments, etc.). It now scrolls vertically so no more next/previous buttons!
- Here’s my favourite new feature: CAST CHAT! Private chats in Cast! Send messages and private casts to friends. Wanna know where the crew wants to go for dinner? How about which outfit looks better? What about if you should text your ex? Throw up a private cast in Chat and find out what your friends really think. Me personally, I think you should let that baggage go... onto something new: like Cast 2.0, baby!
- Along with the new Curated feed, we’ve revamped the look and feel of the Create page. It works more interactively so you can preview what your Cast will look like as you’re creating it. Don’t have a picture for your Cast? We’ve added options to add gradient background colours. Your casts are gonna look cool as heck!
- This isn’t a feature but a reminder that you’re almost there. Your free Cast merch is within reach. Keep going!
- We’ve added some new notifications for you. Firstly, there will be Cast Chat notifications but we’ll only show you a few at a time. We don’t want to bombard your notifications screen with all the conversations you’ll be having. We’re very thoughtful here at Cast.
- Comments and replies are now all on one screen; no more getting lost in reply threads. Just click the comment button on a cast!
- We've added an Closing Date feature, which will allow you to select a date where any further voting on your Casts will stop. You can also close off any Casts you've already created if you'd like. This is meant to be used for things like live event predictions and stuff like that (i.e. who's going to win the big game this weekend?)
- We’ve changed the look of the Profile page (yes, again). We’re only guilty of trying to get it perfect for you guys. But, we did add two features you’ve been asking for: Saved casts and Recast. Saved casts will allow you to save your favourite casts for easy reference. You can create your own customizable lists that you can look over or edit at any time. Recast is a feature that will let you repost a cast to your timeline of followers. Easiest way to think of it is: Saved is for your eyes, and Recast is for the casts you think your followers will want to vote on.
- Finally, the stuff you can’t see. We’ve made numerous improvements to our algorithms to try and serve you the stuff you’re most interested in. Just like all of us, the algorithm is continuously learning and adapting. Maybe one day it will be able to find me a girlfriend, though I doubt it :(
