About Visual Countdown Timer
Is it a battle to get your child to do something quickly?
This visual countdown App was designed for my 2 year old son to help him get his reward chart star for getting dressed quickly.
Getting him dressed used to take forever with many stalling strategies being deployed. Now he runs upstairs asking for the "Countdown".
Watch as the timer runs from green to amber to red, helping the child understand that time is running out.
A fun picture is slowly revealed as the time runs down and when the time is up the child is rewarded with an exciting sound and the picture spins.
Background image changes to match the time of day, so that your child is given subtle hints as to what time of day the task they are being asked relates to.
Choose your own image to reveal from your iPhones photo library to really surprise your child.
Endless possible uses:
* Getting dressed
* Getting out the door (shoes and coats on)
* Tidying
* Brushing teeth
* Sharing toys

+ Create timers for recurring events that can be launched with one tap from the Settings screen. e.g. 2 minute toothbrush timer, or a 10 min quiet time timer etc.
+ Preset timers can be launched straight from your home screen by adding a small, medium or large widget. Widgets can be configured to show only the Presets you want to be shown.
+ Siri and Shortcuts support has been added. Press the 'Add to Siri' button found in the Settings screen to start a timer by saying 'hey Siri, start countdown timer'. Or, use the 'Add to Siri' button found on the Preset editor screen to start a preset timer by saying 'hey Siri, start toothbrush countdown timer'. You can also choose your own phrases or create Shortcuts to start timers...

The new free pictures come with a unique feature where a numerical countdown appears on their tummy when the timer gets to 10 seconds remaining. They also have there own funny noises to match the game and unique end of timer confetti.
