About Creativity & Design 1
The Creativity & Design series of apps provide exercises to radically change the way you think, feel, and perceive the world to rebuild your Self for practical innovation. You will renovate Mind to make a space there for your Self to have its own private design studio. Imagine such a studio equipped with unlimited resources. Just how creative might you become? The superhero comics (think Batman, Black Panther, Iron Man) do a good job of showing what a private person's studio/lab might look like with virtually unlimited resources. The only difference between them and you is that for your mind-studio you will not need the support of a private fortune.

Old Versions
This version has been radically rewritten to make the exercises easier to follow:
1. The famous Milgram study of authority is used to illustrate how the Self can be freed from the authoritative constraints of any one culture.
2. A letter written by Spinoza is used to clarify that to be truly free from authority means to become self-dependent.
3. Two paintings are used to illustrate what it means to have experience in totality versus having experience in perspective which is essential to modern cultures.
4. Hegel's logic is reinterpreted to mean learning the capacity to move dynamically between totality (perspective free experience) and particularity (perspective experience)
5. The soft division between totality and particularity experienced as a continuum is the new basis for creativity. This is contrasted with the hard division of modern dualist cultures between self and world.
6. You learn to build a design studio within Mind, place your Self there, and free yourself from cultural constraints.
