Directum Jazz Classic

Added a notification with a link for downloading Directum Jazz that supports iOS 17. We’ve prepared for the release of the new generation of Directum Jazz that will support latest iOS versions. That’s why we’ve changed the name and icon of the current app. Now it’s called Directum Jazz Classic.
Also an issue has been fixed. In some cases, when an employee started Jazz, they had to enter their login and password even if they had already logged in to the app earlier. It happened when the NOMAD service was restarted. Now when this occurs, employees do not have to re-enter their credentials.

Please note that Directum Jazz is compatible with iOS versions 13 to 16. Compatibility with iOS 17 is possible but not guaranteed. To support the latest iOS version, we will release the next generation of our mobile app.
Here are new features of Jazz 2.7:
- The app checks if your PIN is secure. If the combination of digits you use to unlock the app is too simple, you’ll see a message. In that case, come up with a more secure PIN.
- You can see flow folders of an employee you substitute. That way it’s much easier to manage tasks and assignments of the absent employee.
- We improved sorting of objects. Now folders in lists are sorted in ascending order of numbers and dates in folders’ names.
- We added a new assignment badge. On your device screen, the app icon now displays the number of new assignments.

We’ve improved the app stability by dealing with some internal errors. We’ve also fixed bugs:
- The app could crash when creating a document from camera.
- The app could crash when completing an assignment to accept work.
- Folder filters could apply improperly when working in the app on several devices.

Directum Jazz now displays unread assignments in a different way. Previously, the subject was displayed in turquoise, now – using black semi-bold font.
Fixed bugs:
- In an assignment to sign document, the “Complete” button was available even if the document to sign hadn’t been downloaded. Now the button becomes available only when the document is downloaded.
- If an employee’s photo in Directum RX had changed, it was updated in Jazz only after relaunching the app. Now you just need to update the app data.
- Now you can add an RSA certificate to Jazz on the day the certificate is issued.

In some cases, the "ASN1 corrupted data" error occurred when an employee tried to add a GOST certificate or sign a document using this certificate. Fixed. Employees can successfully add certificates and sign documents.

Jazz 2.5 uses new data storage format. We recommend that you schedule an update for appropriate time as the data will be reloaded to your device once the update is finished. It might take a while.
- You can find information about the update status on the main app screen next to your photo.
- Now you can choose what to display in the “Inbox” folder: assignments, notices, or both assignments and notices.

Processing of tasks and assignments with long threads now takes less time. The app opens and saves them quicker even if they contain more than 100 subtasks.
Jazz is now supported on mobile devices with iOS 16.
Introduced new Directum RX features:
• In all drop-down lists where you select employees, their info now includes full name and department.
• Assignments within rule-based approval now contain instructions specified in Directum RX.

- Starting from version 2.3, Jazz is not supported on devices with iOS 10 and 11. Latest iOS versions have new functions and safety features, so we will dedicate our efforts to supporting them in Jazz.
- You can enable auto-lock of the app after 15 minutes of inactivity. To unlock Jazz, you can use a PIN code or biometrics.
- If your system administrator has configured security policy for mobile apps, auto-lock is enabled automatically – you just need to set a PIN-code.
- If a colleague sends you a link to a Directum or Directum RX document via email or Telegram, you can open the link in Jazz.
- Directum Jazz has been added to the Share menu. Now you can use it to quickly share info with your colleagues, for example, send them a text or an article link. Jazz creates a new task and adds the content you share to the task text.
- Directum RX 4.5 users can view information about a formalized power of attorney under which an document is signed. This info is displayed in cards of documents involved in electronic document exchange between companies.
- In Directum RX 4.5, an action item on a document can be sent not only by its signatory, but by other employees as well. In Jazz, you can view who has sent an action item and on whose behalf.
- Fixed bugs, increased app stability.

The app now supports new features of Directum RX 4.4 that allow you to:
● Approve documents with suggestions.
● Send documents you’re reviewing for rework.
● Complete assignments to get acquainted with a document instead of the employee you substitute.
● Access the To Get Acquainted flow folder.
● Access the Sent folder of the employee you substitute.

The app now supports pass-through authentication in Directum RX via AD FS 2019 installed on Windows Server 2022.
