Get your child hooked on reading with the new DK Readers app
Perfect for each stage of your child’s development, the new DK Readers app makes learning to read fun and exciting. You can browse through a whole library of fantastic DK Readers on every topic from farm animals to fishy tales and emperor penguins to Ewoks, picking eBooks at exactly the right level for your child. Each eBook has a read-aloud audio feature, paced so that your child can read along with the text according to their level of reading confidence. As they develop you can adjust the reading age to suit their new skills and they can even choose their very own avatar from a range of cool images for their growing bookshelf.
But don’t be concerned about your child making any purchases without you, you’ll have a secure parental pin so you can look after what they choose for their beautiful DK bookshelf.
The Dorling Kindersley Limited ("DK") DK Readers app uses a third-party app service provider ("Google Analytics") in order to create accurate, real-time user data reports so that DK can continue to improve the app user experience. The service collects and submits anonymous aggregated data about which app features are being used most frequently as well as your mobile device UDID (unique phone Identifiers) and/or IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identities), which are also anonymised via a secure hashing protocol, to Adobe servers. This information will be used to continually improve the features and functionality that DK releases in its subsequent versions of its mobile apps.
