Edinburgh Bus Tours

We've updated the app with more information about our tours, including pricing and a zoomable map showing where each tour goes and which attractions they go to.

This release includes tour details for Summer 2016.

Updated tour details

Hello! Hope you're enjoying August in the Capital - we have a great update for you. We've listened to all the feedback you gave us, and we've improved several features, including:

• an improved search page, which gives you streets, places, points of interest, bars, restaurants and more
• 'Plan my journey' now shows both the departure time and arrival time, along with live bus departure information and several other improvements
• a new, redesigned 'My Places': now it's even easier to add your own places and search for them from anywhere in the app
• we've moved a few things around on the home screen so that everything you're looking for is at your fingertips

Once again, thanks to everyone who took the time to let us know what they thought - we hope you enjoy the update!

We're so excited about the new Edinburgh Bus Tours design and website at edinburghtour.com that we've decided to rename our app to Edinburgh Bus Tours - hope you enjoy it - we've also added the ability to buy tour tickets from the app.

We've also added hop-on/hop-off stops into Popular Attractions - you can tap on any of them to see live bus departures from that stop - perfect for planning your itinerary even when you're on the top deck of one of our tour buses!

And finally, we've made the app faster and more responsive - thanks to everyone for their feedback.

We've added website links to many of the attractions within Popular Attractions, so now you can look up opening times and extra info straight from Edinburgh By Bus.

• Universal app: now shows large maps on iPad
• Some addresses in Edinburgh couldn't be found, this has now been fixed

• New, faster loading maps
• Connected to the Lothian Buses timetable system so that even if BusTracker isn't available, you still get bus departure times for stops near you
• You can now save stops for easy access later on
