FlightX

FlightX is a flight planning tool with an extensive worldwide airfield / airport listing around the world.
It allows the creation and storage of flight plans.

Flight Planning Functionality

• Smart lookup to find airports and airfields worldwide by code, description, or part thereof
• Enables the user to create a flight plan with detailed flight log calculations for each sector as well as the total trip
• It will calculate flight distance, flight times and track information for each flight segment and totals for a multi-stop flight plan
• Provide information on airfields such as elevation, latitude, longitude
• Calculate fuel burn based on burn rate specified.
• Heading information taking into account specified wind information
• Calculating wind correction
• The app will adjust existing flight plan calculation based on settings for fuel burn rate, track information and wind information

Airport Finder & Display Functionality

The app can switch between a map view, satellite view, or hybrid view to display flight track information.
Flight plan information can be created visually on a map (click the info window), or via the automatic airport / airfield finder lookup. Simply start typing and the app will provide the best match to your search.
Additionally the app can search for closed airfields, registered heliports, seaplane port.
Particularly useful is the feature where the app can find all airfields / airports within a geographical region. Simply zoom in or out on the map, and select “Find All Airfields on Map”.

Note: For the Australian region the app also can find VFR waypoints
The app comes with a 30-day trial period, after which time a monthly subscription can be purchased via iTunes.

Subscription Information:

• The title of the subscription is 'FlightX Annual'
• The FlightX Annual subscription period will commence at date of purchase, and the subscription will remain active for one year
• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• The price for the subscription is USD $20 per year
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
