This release contains a test (Beta) version of a trial passenger counting service which Gatwick Express is developing to provide information on the predicted number of passengers on each train in real-time. To achieve the outputs, we are using a number of data feeds and working with the University of Southampton to develop calculations to find the most accurate way of predicting this. There is an in-app mechanism for customers to comment on the usefulness of the information provided.
