About Handy Boy 2019

"Handy Boy" is a platform video game that embraces a retro look and feel reminiscent of classic 80s games like Manic Miner, Odd Job Eddie, Colin the Cleaner, and others.

Embark on a mission in "Handy Boy"... Joe, the messy handy boy, has scattered his tools after completing some work. Your task is to assist Joe in gathering all his tools, starting with retrieving his Toolbox, which must be collected first. Follow Joe's specific order for placing tools in the toolbox.

Once all tools are found and collected, locate Joe's hard hat to successfully complete the game. Game Center support is available – log in to Apple's Game Center to enable the Leaderboard feature.

Improved handling of Joe in the way he walks, jumps, falls.
Joe now moves and jumps just like 80s in games like Manic Miner, Odd Job Eddie, Colin the Cleaner etc...

Joe can now jump into a room above, and when entering a room below, he will start one row down from the top of the room.
When Joe enters a room to his left/right he will begin one column away from the left/right side.

Due to the improvement to Joe and the way he can enter rooms the Map has been tweaked in places and in some areas redesigned to be a bit more challenging as well as more interesting adventure.

In order to make the game more playable the speed of the game has been dialled back, it's now more playable.

Please note:- previous game save is no longer valid due to the improvements.

Controls.
Improved JUMP control handling, where only a section of the screen will respond to touches to perform a jump.

MFi Controller
Left Thumb Stick can now be used to controls LEFT or RIGHT direction.
Button B can also be used for jump.

Game Center
Leaderboard will not be displayed at end of game if your score was zero.
Your current rank will be displayed if in the top 10.

Bug fixes.
Minor glitch with entities are fixed, were they could appear on the other side of the screen when going out of view on one side.
