What's New:

We thank you for being patient with us, though we still have many more bugs to tackle we're working as fast as we can to fix them.
If you're an Aozora user and your library failed to import, you need not worry. We have a backup of your libraries and they will be restored once our server load dies down.

What's New
• Aozora is merging with Kitsu! Our community is doubling in size! We’ll be adopting Kitsu’s name and brand. Don’t worry, tough guy, it’s adorable. Foxes! Purple!
• With this update, we’ve also rewritten the app from the ground up. In the short-term, this means more bugs, in the long-term, this means a more stable future.

• We’ve added manga support!

Ultimately, we’re not as good as we want to be yet but we’ll be regularly updating the app and listening to your feedback.

@eden: The Man Who Inherited a Nightmare, @eden started working on our codebase after a few weeks of really bad development had taken place. He took it upon himself to cut away the bad code and replace it with the kind of code dreams are made of. Not those kind of dreams, grow up.

@uri: The Rogue QA Manager we need, but don't deserve. Uri is plagued by bugs that often aren't reproducible by anyone but himself. As such, he's made it his mission to ensure that bugs of the community have a voice. @uri carried much of the public beta on his back, not for the love of it, but due to his sick product development masochism.

@nuck: The Aspiring Kitten Medic, when he's not saving the lives of kittens with space heater technology, he's both fixing and introducing bugs on the server. Without him, the app would just be a pretty paperweight.

@vevix: The Silent Dev, some say that when @vevix speaks a kitten is born. As a hater of all things feline, @vevix maintains his silence, instead diving head-first into react-native and making things like the activity feed awesome.

@accidentalfloss: The Bridge to Aozora, @accidentalfloss has been the most active in communicating with both the Aozora and Kitsu community. Keeping everyone updated on the app progress, particularly when @josh failed to do so.

@erik_the_red: The Fountain of Positivity and manga knowledge. @erik_the_red has done an exceptional job teaming up with @uri to keep the community in the loop and help manage our public beta, collecting feedback and probing for bugs.

@bleack: The Man of Many Names, @black has a knack for thoroughly testing and documenting bugs. If it wasn't for @block we'd have missed some particularly nasty bugs. The community is in your debt @blake.

@darkc: The Man Who Started It All, huge shout-out to @darkc for creating Aozora in the first place
