KRISTAL AIR was developed with the support of “Michelin ©” and its main purpose is to bring together a variety of pilots’ daily practice into a fun and enriching unique community experience.

Our app is intended for professional and recreational pilots, students, general aviation, flight instructors, flying clubs, aviation schools, paragliding, gliding, freefall, acrobatics, air navigation race, rallye.

FLIGHT RADAR: The collision avoidance system encourages each user to share his real-time flight location with the community so he can see and be seen by the other aircrafts.

You can also share your position with friends and family.

FLIGHT RECORDING: One of its main features is to record and analyze the entire flight. You will be able to playback your flights records with metrics and 3D viewer.

CHALLENGES: Make it even more fun : organize and participate to different flying challenges, follow your ranking and share your flights with your friends and family via our app, e-mail, SMS or social media : Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Live view of ongoing challenges.

EXPERIENCES: Use your flight records and the built in Via Michelin(r) points of interest and propose the community your own flight plan : fly from one airport to another, take a cab, eat in a nice restaurant, stay for the night and then fly back home.

FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR: use our app to live track the pilot from the ground, review and analyze the flight afterwards. You can also simply create a specific challenge for your student via the app.

AEROCLUBS, FLIGHT SCHOOLS: you can track and locate the flying aircrafts, organize pedagogical challenges and encourage pilots to share their flights experience.

To use KRISTAL AIR you must first create a KRISTAL AIR account. Your flight’s information is totally private and protected by your username and password.

NOTICE:

This app can only be used for flights’ recording and analysis. It will neither analyze your car ride, nor your drone flight.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Internet connection required for live updates while in flight.

You should never plug your iPhone into the aircraft, prefer to use an external battery, bring a specific fireproof bag for lithium batteries and a bottle of water in case of fire.

Note: When used in the cockpit this App should be started before the flight, and be reviewed after the flight. It should not be allowed to create a distraction while in flight.
