Sponsor a Child is the charity app created by Lotus Petal USA that enables you to sustain an underprivileged child`s life journey by providing education and nutrition with one tap on your smart phone.
Access to quality education, basic healthcare and a secure life of dignity is a distant dream to the underprivileged in India. Each year 5 million children are deprived of access to primary education and many sleep hungry.
Support our objective of helping children in the urban slums of India to lead better lives and get access to quality education and healthcare.

. Vidyananda School - Vidyananda School is an English Medium Nursery to Grade 10+2 school of Lotus Petal Foundation, providing age appropriate learning to the children from the underprivileged background. The special attention is given to spelling and handwriting skills. We use the theatre, library and performing arts to develop language and interpersonal skills among the children. Regular interaction with parents through Parent Teacher Meetings (PTM) and counseling help motivate the parents to keep the child in the education system
2. Pratishthan Learning Centre - Pratishthan Learning Center is for those students who have fractured education, enables them to complete from Grade 6 to Grade 10 in 3 years, so that they can complete their Grade 10 in the right age. It’s an English medium school. We train students in various fields right from supporting them in computer learning through the nReach Program run by NIIT Foundation, career counselling through personality tests to enable focused career assessment for the students, life skill training and communication classes.
3. Aarogya Wellness - Aarogya Wellness is a healthcare program that provides free food & medical access to Lotus Petal students. In this program, weekly OPDs & monthly health camp is held at Lotus Petal Foundation, India. The meal planning is closely monitored by calculating the average daily protein and kilocalorie intake per child. Fitness is an integral part of Aarogya Wellness and all children undergo focused exercise regime which include strengthening exercises, toning and posture building.
4. Sahyog: Sahyog is the outreach program of Lotus Petal Foundation India that provides infrastructure development & academic support to local Government schools and other non- profit schools.
