- MaxCurve has been chosen as Best Apps of 2016 by App Store in China, Taiwan and Hongkong.

- For this new version, use the new self-blending layer in the layer kit to overlay currently blended image onto itself; then, set the blend modes. Some designers have already used this method to enhance the contrast in Photoshop.

- With the presence of copyright kit, you may add copyright info into EXIF, or add watermark for protecting your copyright. You may also add the watermark when sharing presets into Gallery.

- It can help in fixing issues when resizing RAW images; appreciation goes to Jean-Christophe Courte.

- It can also help in fixing the crash when saving images on iOS 7.

Jun 15, 2016
- The new release added full supports for RAW formats (CRW, CR2, DNG, ARW, RAF, ORF, NEF, MRW, PEF, and others). Now you may open RAW images with original data imported from your DSLR, blend them by 16-bit / channel (48-bit colors), then save as JPEG or TIFF format by 8-bit / channel (24-bit colors) with EXIF and GPS. Please run this feature on the latest devices, since it needs huge memory. We have ability to save images as TIFF by 16-bit / channel, but it's not a wise choice since it's too large and almost 100 MB disk space for one image.
- Choose the preset you want to output as the format of 3D LUT, and use the same in “Color Lookup” function in Photoshop. You may find the "Color Lookup" function from the menu of Photoshop > Image > Adjustment > Color Lookup. In essence, it's a new perspective for MaxCurve usage as Photoshop’s filter plugin.
- Just in case you have lots of photos or folded albums, the system’s photo picker located at the bottom of album interface allows easy selection and opening of the photo.
- Improved calculation precision in Lab color mode.
- Use LZW lossless compression when saving TIFF files for less file size.

Apr 27, 2016
- We are so proud to release the major version 2.0 with dual blending engines, and it supports full resolution output. Now you may process and save large images without downscaling resolutions. This engine only runs on native app not in filter extension since system assigns limited memory for every filter extension.
- Corrected the color issue for the curves of a/luminosity and b/luminosity, now these two curves are really useful.
- Added a curve of Luminosity in the lab kit, and it's different from RGB curve.
- You may choose the export format and size in settings.
- Fixed the issue around using the mask features.

However, in the upcoming versions, MaxCurve will let you import RAW files directly, process image with 16 bits per channel. We've almost finished this feature, and plan to release v2.1 at the end of next week.

Mar 29, 2016
- Added mask function for every layer. You can draw a mask with the help tools like the pencil and eraser, or with simple click to fill gradient mask.
- The intensity of all layers can be adjusted using a simple slider.
- Fixed the issue when your photos are too many the album view goes slowly. Thank you David.

Till now, MaxCurve has become one of the most powerful and rich in options image editing application for your iPhone. We strongly recommend you to introduce your friends about this wonderful application because of its amazing tools and latest addition of options.

However, in the upcoming versions, you will be able to process large images at full resolution break through the restriction of 4096 x 4096.
1.2.1
Feb 8, 2016
- You can choose to show the numerical value in settings;
- Fixed the crash when re-enable grain layer, thank you Ryan;
- We provided a way to fix the issue when saving images without EXIF in v1.2, but it's always failed with high resolution, and we restore the code temporarily to fix the failure. iOS system can't give enough memory to any extension apps, so there are few photography apps support this technology. We'll keep researching another way for saving EXIF in the future version.

Need mask for layers? That's what we want to do in version 1.3.
1.2
Feb 6, 2016
- With the layer kit at your disposal, you can now not only be able to manage curve applying order using layers but also get to add color or texture layer, adjust blending opacity with the aid of curves as well as set blend modes. Being limited to highlight and shadow tint which other apps offer should no longer be a problem as you can be able to adjust any of the sections you want. All textures available are free to use and later on there will be more at your disposal.
- You can now have access to two new curves. With the ability to copy a or b channel to each in the Lab kit section, you will undoubtedly marvel at the result. Being the most common way of creating filters, you can be able to turn lips to orange and leaves to cyan. Till now, there are 22 curves at your disposal in MaxCurve.

- Fixed the issue that some devices can't get all folders for image browsing. Thank you Tom.
- Fixed the issue that iPad with iOS 7 can't show the landscape mode, and also the crash. Thank you Martin.
- Fixed the issue that images will display randomized black pixels when you adjust HSL curves. Thank you Robert.
- Another bug that will no longer be an issue is the deletion of EXIF data upon editing images that are considered filter extensions in the system’s Photos app. Thank you BanLuca.

We're sorry that here remains a bug when saving large images in filter extension. We'll fix this issue in next version.

It is worth taking note that your proposed features in the reviews will be greatly considered in making the next update to make the app better to work with.

Jan 12, 2016
Well, we changed the icon back to the original one since many users dislike the new one.
Bug fixes and performance improvements.

We're developing new version 1.2, which allows you to manage the adjustment layers, change the applying order, add solid color or texture layers, use the blend modes like in Photoshop, and even adjust blending opacity using curves. Wow! MaxCurve is becoming the most professional image editor on your iPhone.

Jan 9, 2016
Newly designed icon.
MaxCurve can be linked to your Mac or PC's Photoshop using Wi-Fi. After this, it becomes quite easy to import images from Photoshop and export them back again after processing. You can perform collaborative work with Photoshop like a plugin.
iPad has landscape and split view support;
With new kits you get sharpness, grain and vignette options;
When saving pictures, you get to choose whether or not to overwrite files;
Curve controls can be undone simply by pressing reset icon, press and hold and the curve resets;
Errors related to the display of RGB histogram are properly corrected;
Curve adjustment's interface effect is now enhanced;
The badly designed in-app purchase was removed, and you can enjoy all pro curves for free;
Presets are still here but out of screen, you should scroll toll bar to see it.

Why, people ask, do we need such sophistication in an iPhone's image editor? We gave the project much thought when we started and found that collaborative work with Photoshop is the answer to a lot of technical issues; we wanted to evolve the software. Now, images can be seamlessly processed across diverse platforms (Mac, PC, iPad, and iPhone) using powerful and reliable MaxCurve programming.
1.0.1
Dec 8, 2015
Open MaxCurve in system's Photos app and have it serve as a filter extension;
Better designed interface for iPad with larger screen;
Cool and seamless interface;
Support for Tiff format.

Next version? We're developing an exciting feature for MaxCurve, which allows you to connect MaxCurve to Adobe Photoshop of your PC and Mac.
