In the English speaking world the common acronym is STEM referring to the academic disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Education in MINT subjects and the improvement of the scientific education of the population are the basis for the sustainable innovative capacity of a society. Thus, it has become an indispensable part of the educational system at all levels.
