About MobiPalma
Designed with the user of public transport in mind, but without forgetting the drivers, MobiPalma is the ultimate app for moving around Palma and now fully accessible to blind people. Welcome to sustainable mobility!

MobiPalma provides real-time, geolocated information on traffic conditions, the location and occupancy level of parking and public bicycle stations, in addition to all the information on the EMT Palma bus network. It's a free app and it's available in Catalán, Spanish, English and German.
MobiPalma is jointly promoted by the Department of Mobility of Palma de Mallorca City Hall, Emt Palma and SMAP (which manages public parkings and Bicipalma).
With the MobiPalma app you will be able to:
* Get bus arrival times exactly as in the EMT Palma app, but now also without knowing the bus stop number: choose your bus stop directly on the map; search directly by stop number, seeing the matches as you type; use the new text search engine for locating stops by street name. You can also get the bus arrival time from other screens of the app such as line information.
* Calculate routes between a source and a destination using the bus network or using different combinations of bus, public bike and parkings. You can set the source and destination of the route by searching for street names or places: a hotel, a restaurant, a bar, a shop or a mall... And of course, you can select any point directly on a map of the city that shows your location.
* Consult the information on all bus lines and all bus stops on the network.
* View the closest stops to your location represented on the city map.
* Schedule automatic reminders to be at the stop at the right time and don't miss the bus anymore.
* Mark your usual bus stops as favorites and save them with a name for convenience.
* Add to Favorites screen: bus lines, the combination of line and bus stop, Bicipalma bike stations, public car parks, urban road sections with data traffic congestion data and public traffic cameras.
* Check at a glance the status of all your favorites by just opening the app (since "Your Favorites" is the initial screen), and even see the arrival time of your favorite stop-line combinations without touching the screen.
* View on a map the congestion status of the main roads of the city.
* Take a look at the live feed of various public traffic cameras.
* Go with your car to a car park knowing in advance the number of available slots and compare the price with other nearby parking options.
* Go to a BiciPalma bike station knowing in advance the number of available bikes and open anchor points, as well as any unusable ones.
* Automatically receive a 25, 30 and 60 minutes after the bike caught push notification (provided it has not already been returned to an anchor.)
* Check from within the app your Bicipalma usage history and, for example, make sure the trip closed correctly when you left the bike in its anchor point, or see any penalty for extra time.
* Be informed of any incident in public roads and in the transport network, regardless of the sender: Town Hall, EMT Palma or SMAP. Notices on important incidents are sent as an automatic notification to your phone, and you can always disable it in the Settings screen.

* Improved accessibility for the blind and compatibility with assistive technologies (VoiceOver). In particular:
* New "accessible mode for blind people" selectable on Settings screen that hides app sections (Bicipalma, parking and traffic) that are not useful for this group, eliminates maps and streamlines navigation.
* Although maps are not displayed, the list of bus stops is displayed sorted by geographical proximity to the user's location. And you can use the geographic location as the origin or destination of a journey.
* Automatic activation of the "accessible mode for blind people" when activation of VoiceOver is detected.
* Improved navigation menus and screens of the app: The phone can now properly read out loud the header, titles and buttons of all available screens.
* Specific optimization of the bus times screen to facilitate the search by number of stop, proximity to the user's location and free text. That is, the same functionality that all users enjoy.

* The most used feature in MobiPalma and the EMT Palma app, bus arrival time, has been redesigned and improved: you can now select a bus stop on a city map that shows your location, the direct search by bus stop number shows matches as you write, and a text search engine for locating stops by street name has been added.
* New My Routes feature: a powerful tool that can calculate routes between two points in the city using various combinations of public transport. And if you drive, it will recommend a nearby car park, and different possibilities of using the bus or Bicipalma to reach your destination.
* But My Routes is much more powerful: you can set the origin and destination of your journey not only by searching street names or landmarks but also, through integration with Foursquare, you can also search by the name of any establishment: a hotel, a restaurant, a bar, a shop or a mall... And, of course, you can also select any point directly on a city map that shows your location.
* To avoid penalties due to exceeded Bicipalma trip time, the app allows users of the service to access their trip history and consult existing penalties.
* Important annoucemments: If any incident occurs that may notably affect traffic or public transport, you will receive an automatic notification on your device. But don't worry, we won't bother you with nonsense, this feature applies only to high priority announcements and you can always turn it off in the Settings screen.
