- After scrolling down a list of articles in any of the Interest Categories, you can tap
on that category tab to automatically scroll up to the top of the page.

We squashed some bugs and added a few performance improvements.

This update introduces 3 new ways for you to easily and quickly express how something you see in News24 Edge makes you feel: Reactions, Muting & Article Feedback.

Reactions are an extension of the Like button, to give you more ways to share your reaction to an article in a quick and easy way. To add a reaction, hold down the Like button on the article to see the reaction image options, then tap either Like, Love, LOL, Wow, Sad or Angry.

When you mute an article, News24 Edge will remove it (and other similar articles) from your feed, filtering out the “noise” from your news feed. You can also provide feedback on an article via the mute feature.

To mute an article, just tap on the thumbs-down button on the article, then choose whether you want to remove it from your feed or provide us with feedback on the article.

PS: We also squished a couple of bugs with this update to make sure you Edge experience as smooth as possible.

Push notifications: They're here and we're ready to start sending you the updates you need to keep you abreast of the latest in news, sport and business. Control the topics you're subscribed to in the app's settings screen.
Live scoring: Rugby and Soccer matches have been redesigned from the ground up. It's now easier than ever to stay on top of the score and follow the action blow-by-blow in beautiful detail.

As always there are a number of under-the-hood tweaks and optimisations to make your News24 Edge experience and smooth and slick as possible.
