The PiXL6 Maths App (PMA6) is a skills based assessment program. The app successfully highlights your strengths and your areas to develop. This is a very useful and accurate tool to use prior to any test to help rank which revision topics are of the most importance.
The app is setup in such a way to guide you through a wide range of Mathematical topics. The PMA assesses generic skill based Mathematical knowledge; it therefore suitably matches any exam board spec.

In this release the app ties student PiXL 6 Maths app accounts with existing PiXL Maths account credentials. Moving forward you will need just 1 account to access all PiXL apps (dependent on whether your school has access to a specific app). Staff will need to ensure that students have been uploaded to the central register and have been allocated to a Maths class to be able to access this app.
Another important feature of this update will be how staff interact with student account information making the data we store more secure.

Enabled scroll panes on all screens.
Improved menu interaction: Finally sussed the scroll pane for mobile/tablet!! You can now use your finger to scroll through the menus without it triggering the button. The button will now only be triggered once the button has a definite press.

Continued support for GPU usage.
Students can now upload data using the renamed "Gap analysis" tool (now "Paper QLA" tool). This feature has been added due to requests from colleagues looking to further reduce workload and more importantly allow for greater student independence.

A new search facility to find questions easier has now been added to "Take a test". Version 1.25 includes a fix for case sensitive PLC words.
A summary pdf report has now been added to "Take a test". This is the same report staff see from using "Class analysis".
Coloured results have now been removed from the first "Take a test" menu as they were counter productive.

'Skills Overview' has now been merged with 'Take A Test'. This now allows you to more accurately select topic areas that need to be focussed on.
PowerPoints have always been part of specific questions, but now they have their own area. This feature can be used at any point whether you are in the middle of a lesson (if devices are allowed) or in private study time for other key examples whilst completing a paper task.
More questions will be automatically added soon in time for the 16th Oct conference. Keep an eye on the topic list!
