About Run Roster

Description:

Run Roster is your path to achieve your running goals for any upcoming 5k, 10k, 1/2 or Full Marathon races.

If you have registered for a race in the future, or just want to train for your first 5k on any date from home, Run Roster will keep you motivated and on track. Once you've entered a race type and date, Run Roster will provide you with a custom training plan at the beginner level to help you run your best on race day.

With Run Roster you can;

- Record all your past and future running events
- Monitor progress and stay accountable by keeping up with the provided training plan
- Cherish those "Rest" days
- Record your finish time when you complete a race, then look back and set a new goal for your next run
- Keep a finish line photo to remember race day
- Add the Run Roster Widget to your home screen and lock screen to display the current training run for each day

With Run Roster for Apple Watch you'll see all your runs right on your wrist.

- Races and training progress will sync between iPhone and Apple Watch through iCloud
- Run Roster complications provide training progress updates and quick access right on your watch face
- Almost anything you can do on Run Roster for iOS can be done right on your wrist.
* photos do not sync
* run events created on Apple Watch will default to the current date, date can then be edited on iPhone.

Run Roster requests permission to access Apple Health data. This allows the app to track your heart rate and activity calories, which will update your activity rings. The app also requests motion data and location information to measure and display running route and pace data. All data is measured and stored on device and is not shared with the developer in any way.

If you've read this far thank you for your interest in Run Roster. I am an independent iOS developer and welcome any and all feedback as to how you're using Run Roster.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

Updated for iOS15 and watchOS8.

Most changes with this update occur behind the scenes.

The largest improvement can be found on watchOS which now allows Run Roster to continually display your run metrics during a workout even while your wrist is lowered. Instead of blurring out the display, now a quick glance down at your wrist will still allow you to see all of your run details.

As always thank you for your ongoing support.

This update brings Run Roster to watchOS!

On Apple Watch you can create new runs, view past, present and future 5k's, 10k's, half and full marathons. Progress rings and your active training plan are now right on your wrist to help monitor your training progress.

Run Roster now supports iCloud sync. Run events and training progress automatically sync between iPhone and your Apple Watch. With watchOS Complications the Run Roster app can now live on your watch face to quickly access the app and view the name and date of the run you're actively training for.

Other updates:
- This update changes the way the app saves your training progress. Due to this change any previously saved progress in a training plan will need to be re-entered. My apologies for this but it allows iCloud sync, is a more robust saving model, and this will not happen again.

- On iPhone existing runs can now be edited.

- Runs added on Apple Watch will default their date to the day they were added. This is a functionality I plan to update in the future. If you create a run on your watch please edit the date on your iPhone.
