About Shutter Remote

"Alexa, take a picture with Shutter Remote."

Taking a group photo with your phone can be tricky - you have to find somebody to snap the picture or mess around with timers and running back to the group just before the timer goes off.

Alexa can help. Simply launch the Shutter app on your phone, get your shot set and join your group. When everybody is ready, say, "Alexa, take a picture with Shutter Remote." Do it a few times to be sure you got a great one.

EASY SETUP

Setup is easy - just install the Shutter Remote skill, tell Alexa your pin, then start taking pictures. Shutter doesn't have a signup form, so you don't have to create a username and password, and you're not asked for your email address. You can add as many phones to your account as you'd like.

PRIVACY

Shutter doesn't upload photos to a server. Your photos are saved locally on your phone.

NOTE: in order to use this app with Alexa, you must have enabled the Shutter Remote skill on a nearby Alexa-compatible device.
