Based on the 2022 American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) "Clinical Practice Guideline Revision: Management of Hyperbilirubinemia in the Newborn Infant 35 or More Weeks of Gestation" guidelines. Previous 2004 guidelines also available via an in-app toggle. Designed and developed by family physician Dr. Émilie Coudière, MD.
FEATURES
• Management and follow-up recommendations according to patient's age, bilirubin level, gestational age at birth, risk factors.
• Guideline nomograms provide visualization of results.
• Patient's age can be entered directly or from birth and lab sample times.
• Support for US and SI units (mg/dL and μmol/L).
• List of hyperbilirubinemia and neurotoxicity risk factors for quick reference.
• Direct links to specific sections of the guidelines for quick reference.
