We've made a couple of little design tweaks to the daily quiz for small talk EXTRA subscribers. Yes, this is a shameless plug for you to upgrade to EXTRA for a mere handful of pennies a month - you'll get a trivia quiz, a daily IQ test question, a recipe, a bit of philosophy and more each day!
Also, we realized that the anchor bar menu (that thing with the navigational icons at the bottom of the screen) looked mildy condescending. Something about it really just didn't sit well with us, so we removed the icon titles. It's fairly obvious what they do. We didn't mean to cause offence. This change makes us feel 1% better about ourselves, and we hope it does so for you too.
And finally, while we have you here, here's a pretty cool quote we thought you might like:
"People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel" - Maya Angelou

We are busy working on V2 of small talk which we are very excited about. In the mean time we have released a small update to fix some of the issues our users raised as well as some some slight cosmetic improvements:
- Signing up: You are no longer required to signup when you first download small talk but you will have to create an account if you want to save any content.
- Apple login: You can now login with your Apple ID
- Screenshot bug fix: It is now even easier to share a screenshot of your favourite small talk.
- Easier on the eyes: We have changed the font colour and spacing to make it even easier to read (dark mode is on the way as well).

But back to the point: this new version of small talk comes with a few slight UX improvements, a new app store icon, bug fixes, and a brand new content policy.
Alongside that, we've made some changes under the hood for a huge update towards the end of August / early September, so stay tuned for further improvements - and as always, please don't hesitate to get in touch with your feedback and suggestions at hello@getsmalltalk.com
