Ever wonder where the sun is shining or snow is falling? Solcaster is the world's first weather app that let's you choose the weather you want, and shows you where to find it:
1. Choose your weather
2. Choose your starting location
3. Choose your travel time
Tired of waiting around in the rain? Well let's change that. Open up the Solcaster app and search for "Sun." Set your starting location with how far you want to travel, and go! Get out of that rain and get into some sunshine. (Unless you like rain -- this app works for you too, pal).
But it doesn't stop there. Not only does Solcaster find you ideal weather right before your very eyes, it also recommends hikes, climbs, and events happening in the locations returned. Now we're talkin'!
Ever been on vacation or stuck in a place you aren't familiar with? Easy. Just tap on any of your Solcasted results to find detailed forecasts, hikes and trails, rock climbing routes, and events happening around town. So say, 'toodle-loo' to a weekend with aunty Karla in Spokane...you just found out Les Mis is touring the Emerald City.
Reidefine, LLC and the Solcaster App are based in Seattle, WA. Originally an Excel spreadsheet built to find where it wasn't raining within a two hour drive of Seattle, Solcaster is now a fully functional iOS app. Users are able to search any type of weather, refine that within settings, and search outdoor activities/events happening in those locations. Use it year round, on vacation, whenever! Solcaster Pro further increases your travel radius up to 8 hours away and removes pesky ads. We think it is well worth it. But what do we know?
