Stash Star Project

This version adds support for iOS 12 and Apple’s latest iPhone and iPad offerings.

Stash Star Project 4.0 has a bunch of great new features for you.

We’ve added a new “location” attribute for your projects. If you’re like us, you’ve got projects in various stages of completion stored all over the place. Now can you can record where you’ve put what and stop asking yourself, “Now where did I put that?”

Projects also have a new “Tags” attribute that you can use for, well, anything! You can create and assign tags to your projects to help you find projects in your collection. We’ve included some tags as examples but tags are completely customizable for your particular needs.

This update also adds a new “Notes” attribute for your projects so you can attach any additional comments you like about your projects.

Want an easy way to share your projects with your friends? We’ve added a new “Export projects” option just for you. Select the projects you wish to export by setting filters—or clear all filters to send all your projects. Then specify if you want your project’s summary, timeline, or both to be exported. Stash Star Project will create a file with your projects that you can save, email, print, or share via one of the many other sharing options.

This update includes enhancements to error reporting.

This release adds support for the iPhone X and includes some usability improvements.

This release adds support for iOS 11.

Create your own custom project statuses to provide a greater level of detail in managing your projects. For example, for pottery projects you could add a Glazed or Fired status. You could add a status for First Draft Completed or Sent to Editor for your writing projects. Quilters might want to add a Pattern Selected or Layout Completed status. The possibilities are endless!

Adding a new project status easy. When editing a timeline entry, tap the Status field to view the project status list, then tap Edit to add a status of your own.

There are two big features in Stash Stash Project 2.0.

Track how much time and money you are spending on your projects. Enter the time and money you spend in your timeline entries and Stash Star Project will add them up for the project.

Each timeline entry can have up to three photos. We’ve also improved the process for adding photos.

We've added two new project statuses: Planning and Stopped.

Create a “Planning” timeline entry when you haven’t started work on a project but you’ve moved past the idea stage and are gathering information, purchasing materials, or otherwise getting ready to begin work.

Create a "Stopped" timeline entry when you’ve decided to stop working on a project. Of course you can always delete the “Stopped” entry and resume work later if you wish!

You can now save your project and timeline photos to the Photos app, or share them with your friends via email, text, or social media. Simply tap any photo to view it full screen and then tap the "share" button.

Now you have two ways to view the projects in your collection. You can view just the project pictures. Or you can view the project pictures with additional details, including the project description and status. Try them both to see which layout you prefer.

We've also improved the processing of project and milestone pictures with this update, improving performance and reducing memory usage.
