About ZipShare
ZipShare is an app with the goal of making carpooling within schools easier. The app has three main features to accomplish our goal of simple carpooling. The first is a map that allows you to see which of your schoolmates live closest to you. The second feature is a messaging system which allows you to coordinate and plan rides. Lastly, there is an in built calendar that shows you essential carpooling details for your group such as who is driving, who is riding, the pickup location, and the pickup time. Today we are introducing a whole new ride feature! You will now be able to access GPS navigation within the app to help your carpool get to the pickup location and then to your final destination! This update also brings some bug fixes & UI updates. Soon to come will be a GPS tracking feature which will allow all members of a carpool group to track the person driving. ZipShare has a new look! We have redone the whole app. Users can now message other students and even schedule carpools with them on a calendar. In addition to the new features, we have fixed a whole lot of bugs. Lastly, we also added push notifications so that you are always up to date on your carpooling experience!
